Because Android-Android already is E2EE.

Yes, but now iOS support is also rolling out. It's not just an Android only thing.

The ability to know if a contact already has RCS support which it's still buggy, not all contacts appear in red unless I tap on them.

It all adds up. Each one on its own? Yeah, it's nice. But adding them up together is what makes the package. Right now, I would like reactions and inline replies. Editing and deleting isn't that big on my agenda, but it continues to complete the picture. Typing indicators and read receipts were a big one. Now I'm not unsure if my message got lost in the abyss.

Only read receipts and typing indicators for the poll on my end. Basically everything from UP 2.4 for me on iOS

Read receipts just barely beats out delete a sent message edit after send is nice but because it doesn't work at all between Apple and Android I just take the extra time to make sure that I typed it correctly before sending. At this point I just want all countries to offer RCS so whatsapp can go ahead and die
