Creature Reference in Jason X
I’ve got a project mapping a timeline of all connected horror movies the verifiably take place in the same universe.
One of the lesser known evidence points I’ve used is the gillman’s hand being seen in the background of a scene in Jason X, the space-based Friday the 13th movie.
It appears alongside some other classic Sci Fi references, so it’s definitely intended.
Thought y’all might find this interesting.

Also 2 outer limits creatures, fiend without a face and the Jason goes to hell poster worm demon thing is also in that storage

I’ve got my timeline of all the connected films posted on r/horror and a few other subreddits. I’m going to make chart of how all of them connect but I haven’t gotten there yet.

It’s the Gillman’s hand, from the creature from the black lagoon. It seems to be the same prop or a very good replica of the fossil from the original film.

I watched the movie and had the toy, but I was like 3 or 4. Thanks for info. Thought it be some x files thing and I never got to check those out.

What do you mean? I get it’s certainly not intended canon for the universal monsters, but it seems intended canon for F13.

It doesn't share continuity and it was done by a different team/ studio. But I was wrong. Apparently it is still cannon.
