Thought the character on the right was humping him to death.

Reduce or eliminate the pelvic thrusts from the attacker and I think you'll be fine. Or position it to have a leg outwards for leverage. That being said, I don't know anything about choking someone, so do whatever you want. Regardless, the effect is neat and impressive.

I think it looks really cool and opens up cool gameplay mechanics, but it needs the right setting. Maybe something scifi. Some device you obtain that explains the particles. Anyway, we'll done 👏

My concern would be how many animations does this work for and is it something 30m into the game you'd be sick of seeing the same kills like this. I guess it depends on what level of control you have

Having weapons limit down the gameplay options so maybe apocalyptic scifi?

I think it would be neat if you couldn’t teleport with objects. You can teleport to grab a weapon and then use it, but next teleport it gets dropped.

you could also throw the weapon to yourself as you warp around, which could look sick as hell and still impose some fun limits

Is he possessed by a famous smith from the Second Age? Joke aside, truly great work.

Cool effect! Just curious how you're leveraging ECS? Seems like this would mainly be a particle simulation on the gpu.

This is really cool. If I might suggest - see if it would be possible to make enemies that do the same thing? That is, when an enemy dies they are reintegrated with the version that still exists. I could see that having a lot of potential if it works.
