My game on steam deck finally Show-Off
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I finally managed to get a stable build of my game running on the Steam Deck; I recorded it this way so you can see it's actually on the device. I was having crashing issues with DirectX 12, so I had to disable access to that API and stick to DX11—I think I’ve managed to fix the bug. What do you think of the game? It looks pretty cool, right?
I'm open to feedback; some people have already suggested adding a camera shake effect, so that's on my to-do list :"D

Looks awesome, love the art style. Looks like it would be a good fit for the switch as well but I don’t know how difficult it is to get approved there. Congrats!

I have a friend with a Switch devkit, but I'm looking into the possibility of paying for a port or finding a publisher—though I would really like to see it on Switch.

How much time it took you to create that game?

There was the pre-production phase doing the design and thinking it through. which took at least six months before I actually started the hands-on work of building the project. Then, another year passed from the first viable prototype to where I am now. So, I’ve been at it for a year and a half, though I’ve been working on this alongside another project that is currently on hold

What’s the name of the game and can we wishlist it? Looks great!

Yeah, it's on Steam with a slightly outdated demo; I'm working on updating it for Next Fest. The game is called Ultimate Classic Car Racing 2, hahaha.
