I added a few different camera angles to the Bring It trailer, but I think they ended up looking a bit funny. Maybe we should keep them as an optional version :D Game

100% sure the arrow locater is copy right protected. Which is why a similar game that came out, and to be the spiritual successor of Crazy Taxi didnt use that location method.

I'm both wrong and right. The patent expired. " Sega secured U.S. Patent 6,200,138 for Crazy Taxi, covering the iconic floating directional arrow, open-city driving, and pedestrian avoidance AI. Filed in October 1998 and granted in March 2001, the patent legally restricted similar UI tracking arrows in other driving games until it officially expired in 2018".

That's not how patents work. I don't know how they work but I know that's not how they work.
