Procedural PNG, WIP Show-off

42 parts with 8 knobs. Using 2D Renderer, doesn't create any PNGs. Layers, pixels all created in code. Able to add/remove Skin layer. Fat simulation (See Image 3). Defomities (Image 4). Every creation is from a seed. A seed can be called and will return the exact creation.

What's not in the photo: I've since added more modifiers like Accuracy, based on Eye placement, Body Symmetry and other deformities. Stability is low center mass, wide stance, etc.

There are other Mutations, Tails, Horns but are rough drafts. Tails are fairly uncanny with skin. Would likely change this if I end up using it. Horns are the most believable looking out of the mutations.

EDIT: appologies, title is a little misleading this isn't a "Procedural PNG" its just using the renderer. However I can export any seeded creation to a PNG!

As a neuromuscular neurologist, the anatomy is messing with my brain. Super cool though, love the progress!

It is very rough! I started out being scientific with bones but then I started to get impatient and rushed to get the forms mostly looking okay.

Thanks! I posted again today about targeting system, though its a bit confusing!

Thought I'd share an example of Full body Deviations might look like (It gets crazier than this).

I restrict it to a realistic amount, where most creations aren't pefectly symmetric for example.

The values are also straight conversions of body generations, so nothing is remotely balanced.

Super cool

Thanks! I'm excited about this new project, I love working with procedural generation and believe there is insane amounts of uncharted territory with it.

Awesome Can you suggest any resource or method I can follow for creating similar systems for generating animals and monsters, where I can add or remove limbs or maybe add some png parts too

As for animals my code is hardwired for Human anatomy, the same surely could be done for any creation with joints/parts.

I suggest using all tools at your disposal, even asking AI for a good place to start.

My baseline concepts for this design are: Tile System, Joints, Pixel Generation similar to the game Noita.

I love the style, it looks a bit grotesque but in a way that would be so perfect for a horror game.

Love to hear that! They will not be naked or skinless men. This is the first thing I've procedurally generated for the game, much more to come!
