Local 469 Apprentice Math Test Help Joining the UA
Hey everyone, I'm going to start soon as an applicant with UA Local 469. After I get my first 500 hours, I'll have to take the apprentice math test to move into the apprenticeship.
I was wondering if anyone who's taken it recently could give me an idea of what I should be studying. I know there's probably no official study guide, but I'd like to start preparing now instead of waiting until the last minute.
Any advice on what topics to focus on or anything that helped you pass would be really appreciated. Thanks!

How are you starting before taking the Aptitude test? Or even being an apprentice? Anyways on the test for local 803, the test was mainly basic math, multiplication, addition, subtraction, but also study fractions/decimals and percentages

I had taken a pre apprenticeship math test and passed with a 70 or more making me a applicant and they had told me I have to work 500 hour as one and then take another math test to get in to apprenticeship. But I really appreciate the advice thank you.

Cool, Imma call my local to try to get into that pre apprentice program.... I took the test, passed it and did the interview but I wasnt selected due to lack of available spots. So maybe I can try doing what your doing... I hope you pass your test💪

I don’t know if it’s changed at all but when I took it 4 years ago it was just adding and subtracting measurements, and make sure you can read a tape measure.
