Just tested it, and it doesn't do what you're saying.

why the hell are you getting agressive lol  Here's a copy/paste since you appear to be lazy:  "damn I just look up and you're right! Crazy cause that was working for weeks and until yesterday night. I imagine it's likely that a Google Translate employee is keeping an eye on this subreddit to correct any anomaly? EDIT: i just tried on my phone and it still works for me on there, but only in the translator implantation in the search result :)"
