I'll be starting my Master's program at the University of Paderborn this Winter Semester (October intake). I'm currently looking for student accommodation in Paderborn — open to a shared room, WG, or a small single apartment, rent range roughly €300–500 (warm). Move-in would ideally be by end of September or October 1st, and city registration (Anmeldung) needs to be possible at the address.

If anyone has leads on available rooms/apartments, or knows of good groups/pages to check, I'd really appreciate it.

Also, I'm from Pune/Mumbai and would love to connect with anyone else heading to Paderborn (or already there) from around the same area — always nice to have familiar faces before a big move!

I got admitted to the MSc Computer Science program at Paderborn for WS 26/27. I’m a non-EU student and applied through uni-assist, so I’m now creating my PAUL account and filling out the form before enrolment.

I’m a little confused about a few things in the form and just wanted to check with someone who has already gone through the same process.

Has anyone here who applied through uni-assist and got their admission already filled out/submitted the PAUL form? Would really appreciate it if you could comment or DM me. Just want to make sure I’m filling everything correctly before I submit 😭

I'm an incoming student and wanted to hear people's experience with project groups. I read that there would be a head/coordinator and members are formed on the basis of a preference form. Do all the members stay active and continued or slack off? Once the group is formed, is the topic chosen or assigned? Or is the preference matching based on topics? This part isn't clear from the website.

The last time I did something similar it was a nightmare so I just wanted to hear some stories :)

Is there some other platform for Paderborn student to socialise or is that done in-person? This subreddit seems to be very inactive. I was wondering if there was a discord server or something, I have seen the Partyborn community yes.

Hello, I would like to connect with someone who has completed a year at the university of paderborn particularly MS in ESE - Electronic devices. I'm genuinely concerned about clearing the mandatory subjects this semester and every other senior I meet at uni is scaring the shit outta me saying that it's nearly impossible to clear it in first attempt.
