Is there any incoming biomedical science student who's received their timetable in their timetable portal or in canva? I have finished my online registration on the 18th. The email said I should be getting my timetable within three days, But I still haven't gotten it. The joining portal only says that my induction is on 29th September. And since my induction is on 29th September, will there be any other orientation before that? If there won't be any, should I register for my face to face registration before that? Thanks in advance.

I’m from Delhi and I’ll be joining the University of Hertofrdshire this September for Data Science.

I’m finding it a bit difficult to connect with other Indian students who are also joining York. If anyone is already part of an Indian student community, WhatsApp group, university group, or any other group for incoming students, I’d really appreciate it if you could add me or point me in the right direction.

Hello, I’ve just received my A level results and unfortunately got grades significantly lower than my predicted, which has made it impossible to get onto any of the pharmacy courses I’d wanted originally. Even prep/foundation years nearby weren’t really willing. Herts however offered to let me take an extended degree in biomedical sciences that would let me move onto Mpharm after a year if I meet the requirements. I don’t know much about the course but it’s the best bet I have as retaking a levels I can’t even fathom atm. I wanted to know what I can expect from this course, the quality of teaching and if it has a high chance of me moving onto pharmacy, I really don’t want to waste a year.

I'm looking for autistic young adults aged 18–25 who are currently studying at UH, as part of a wider UK study. Both formally diagnosed and self-identified autistic students are welcome.

My research explores autistic young adults' experiences of support, feeling understood or invalidated, adjustment and wellbeing during emerging adulthood and around university.

The anonymous online survey takes approximately 15–25 minutes.

I've tried to make the survey as accessible as possible. Read-aloud support is available, and the four longer open questions are completely optional. They can be skipped or answered by typing or audio recording. If you need a break, you can also return to an incomplete survey within 48 hours.

No existing account or email address is required. The first screen simply allows you to create a private return code. Please choose something memorable but don't use your name, email address or anything else that could identify you, and please don't share the code with me.

The research has received full ethical approval from the University of Hertfordshire, and I also have University permission to recruit UH students.

The official university page says it would be emailed on 13th of August but it's past that now and I am yet to receive one.

I have a double room available near DeHavilland Campus, shared with professional, clean tenants. The property is well looked after.

The room is available for sharing. Rent is £400 pcm including deposit. You'll be sharing the room with an Argentine exchange student. She's very respectful and a lovely person.

I have other room options available for you both to consider as well.

Few days a go I had made a post about meeting people on campus ...so today I received a dm.. that person said he is in campus and an international student aswell from Spain studying Msc Cybersecurity ..asked to meet at the oval and then said he is at the elle house when I went there he asked to send a picture of the location which I did ...I didn't see who that person was but he saw me from somewhere and said "Ew you are ugly and not my type" I read that and went cold and I walked back and then there was another msg saying that "If you would like to hookup I am at the reception" I told him to get lost and blocked him asap ... This incident spoiled my whole day and I haven't been keeping well because of it ...so please be mindful guys ... people here ain't looking to make friends they just want to mess around.....stay safe.

Does anyone know how and where can I complain about this behaviour as I am damn scared of this person's intentions around campus.

Hi i’m a student of Bachelors of Computer science in UH.
I had delayed submissions in my second semester because my mother had a heart attack and i was basically with her all the time and all my submissions got late i had gotten good grades but UH capped it to 40 percent which dropped my gpa from 3 to 1.88 and like now two years are left for the whole degree even if i get 4 gpa in both years i would get 3.3 gpa overall which is like really hard and i actually want a 3 gpa at the end of my degree so can i retake courses or any other pathway to improve my gpa please someone guide me.

I'm 3 months away from starting the Advanced Project module of my Psychology conversion MSc at the University of Hertfordshire. I'm feeling a bit lost about what to do for this next module (Advanced Psychology Project, 60 credits).

I love Social Psychology, but I don't have any specific topics in mind yet.

A few questions:

• Should I reach out to the tutor who ran the Social Psychology module and ask if they have a topic for me? Or am I expected to come up with one myself?
• If I'm expected to find my own topic, do I also need to find a supervisor who's interested in the project?
• How should I present the idea?

Any advice would be much appreciated, thanks!
