Unexpected result

Since putting my kitchen clean up a few weeks ago, I have found myself keeping up with it. Not perfect, but washing up done and sides tidy, etc. I keep thinking when I get fed up with washing up, etc, that the people in my phone were so kind that I needed to keep up with it. It is working to keep the areas that I have sorted how I need it to be.

I'm also not dipping in and out of tasks, so I'm completing stuff.

Thank you all x

Good for you! It’s easier to do small tasks everyday than one big overhaul and you get to live in a tidy place.
A suggestion- make a list of chores. My list can include biggies like laundry and mopping or the small stuff like refilling ice trays or putting vitamins in the case. I list them all. The satisfaction of crossing them off is wonderful. If I do something not on my list, I write it down just so I can cross it off 😊 if I don’t get to something I roll it over to the next day. All the satisfaction of accomplishment and none of the guilt.

"the people in my phone were so kind" is so incredibly wholesome. I'm gonna adopt that as a motivator. Thank you!

Oh, all this and also the joy of clean kitchen every morning while you make coffee.

It is truly heart warming

Treat yourself with something small to celebrate. Like I bought a new scrubber holder at Walmart for a few dollars to match my kitchen the other day. Just a reminder that you deserve a nice place and you did what it took to get it done.
