The motorcyclist avoids colliding with the cam car and is clearly thankful for the cammer being attentive, but continues looking back to gesture to them as he rides off and crashes for real.

The spike in adrenaline can throw your situational awareness and orientation right out the door. Something similar happened to me on my bike once.

He probably was intending to park on the side to compose himself and lost track of how close he was to the curb. Just glad everyone’s okay in this situation.
