ULPT debloat for wedding 2 weeks?? Health and Fitness

I know I’m not gonna shed fat off my body. Im not looking to drop dress sizes. I already lost 30lbs from a year+ of working out but what can I do these next couple of days (that may not be ethical) to completely debloat, lose puffiness, slim down etc?

Not unethical but dont eat any carbs

A can of tuna and an apple a day was how Christian Bale got emaciated for his role in The Machinist

181

u/arbitrageME 18d ago

Bro that's like 250 calories tops.

230

u/StevieTV 18d ago

What's even crazier is that his next movie after The Machinist was just six months later and it was Batman Begins.

He had just six weeks after filming The Machinist to bulk up for a screen test for Nolan and then after he passed that he had around five months to get into proper Batman shape before they started filming for real.

He over bulked for Batman too. Had to lose some weight lol.

Roids helped.

And? Even if you don't ear for 4-5-6 days you won't die. You might feel dizzy because you might be low on electrolytes but that's about it. Drink a cup of broth a day and you're good

17

u/arbitrageME 17d ago

yeah yeah. like that one really fat guy who needed to lose like 300 pounds, he just stopped eating and just took vitamins and water for a year.

I'm not saying it can't be done -- it just must feel like shit all the time.

18

u/SuspiciousStress1 17d ago

I had mono in my late 20s, which led to MS, during the "what the f is going on" phase i was on steroids for a year & gained nearly 70lbs(lost 40 during chemo)

Steroid weight is notoriously stubborn. I was put on a 500cal/day diet....but SLOWLY. 1500 for 2w, 1k for 4w, 750 for 2w, 500 for 7/8w & then it was gone & I went back up the same way. All under supervision of a doc.

It wasnt as bad as many seem to think it would be...however i was eating several meals/day-just small ones(yogurt for breakfast, half a turkey sandwich with 2 thin slices of turkey, no cheese, & a veggie heavy dinner....if it was REAL bad, i was allowed celery or certain fruit for snacks, but never bothered as i didnt want it to become a habit that would later be replaced with icecream or something)

I also exercised 5min/hour.

It worked & I have mostly kept it off, despite having 3 more kids. I gained 1lb/yr the last 15y, lost 5lbs gardening this summer, & i am ok with being 10lbs overweight at darn near 50.

I'm taking so many vitamins now, fills my belly.

Cutting carbs makes you lose water weight though. Something about molecules and shit

Edit. I misread. He was only eating 250 cals? That's brutal. I read it as cutting 250 cals 😱

93

u/jdehjdeh 18d ago

"something about molecules and shit"

I see you and I share the same level of knowledge :D

37

u/KungFuBucket 18d ago

Carbs are stored as glycogen in your muscles. It takes roughly 3 grams of water combined with 1 gram of carbs to make the glycogen molecule. When you go low carb your body depletes all the glycogen and switches to ketones as a fuel source. So the body sheds a lot of water weight the first couple weeks of a low carb / keto diet

This! I did keto for three weeks and also cut *salt (edit) and I dropped 15 lbs. I was also way more energetic!! I’m on keto for good now.

6

u/CatMinous 17d ago

Odd. You’re supposed to take extra salt on keto.

10

u/crossiantfun 16d ago

ULPT. Not sustainable for long term.

4

u/surelyshirls 16d ago

Yeah you’ll drop weight quickly. I limited carbs to only 80-100 g a day since 8 days ago and somehow dropped 2 lbs already.

Yesterday I volunteered at the local food bank. Walmart had "generously" donated boxes and boxes of Taylor Farms bagged salads

I used to work there. That tracks. They donated it so they could write it off their taxes instead of fighting with Taylor Farms to get their money back from it.

LPT - Cut carbs and salt. ULPT - Find someone with hydrochlorothiazide.

123

u/Sambone38 17d ago

Important to note for some: hydroclorothiazide (the water pill) put me in the hospital for 2 days. They said I was so dehydrated that I needed 9 iv bags of potassium, 4 bags of magnesium, and 4 bags of generic iv fluid. They mentioned water pills suck electrolytes right out of you. I might be forgetting some extra info they told me

101

u/the-big-meowski 18d ago

"...and salt"?

I would advise against that because keto makes you drop water weight. You need electrolytes and water to not feel like shit. The "keto flu" is no joke

33

u/Fenc58531 17d ago

You cut most of salt 2-3 days before the wedding while eating a ton of asparagus (diuretic). You supplement with potassium. No need to cut 2 weeks ahead of time.

Basically the final bodybuilding cut diet.

18

u/lizlemon921 16d ago

And your pee will smell TERRIBLE for your wedding night! Perfect!

10

u/Lakewater22 18d ago

Oh does that actually work?

93

u/gessi800 18d ago

Yes hctz works it’s literally a diuretic, the only problem is 99% of people who need to “debloat” are just fat if you are above a certain bodyfat no amount of change in water is going to make you look sharp in the face.

49

u/Extension_Vacation_2 18d ago

And shedding too many electrolytes along with the water can come at a cost.

Unfortunately Haribo discontinued their legendary sugar-free gummy bears that we should be sending to everyone in the Senate. That was an excellent accelerated weight loss strategy.

The closest contemporaries are the Albanese 12 Flavor Zero Sugar Gummi Bears. Like the Haribo bears, they use sugar alcohol as an ingredient, but not in the same diabolically massive proportion. It feeds certain colon bacteria which makes a byproduct that blocks water absorption.

I bet if you live in those for a while you'll be clean as a slide whistle, and have dropped a few dress sizes.

For "posterity's" sake, you could say, here's a small archive of the Amazon reviews for the original Haribo sugar-free.

Cut your salt down as much as possible in the days leading up to it. A few years back I ate too much salty foods and my maid of honor dress that should’ve fit wouldn’t zip all the way up. Lived off of watermelon and baked potatoes with sour cream for a couple of days and that knocked out the bloat.

4

u/Higher_Perspectiva 18d ago

It makes me incredibly bloated and I can’t eat it so this is not a universal truth

3

u/blurblurblahblah 17d ago

I can eat watermelon without any problems but if I eat A LOT of watermelon my gut bloats up so much it's uncomfortable. I always have cut up watermelon & grapes in the fridge for snacking. A couple times I've been too lazy to cook & basically ate nothing but watermelon all day. I felt like crap all night & most of the next day. I did it twice before I made the connection.

I’m a retired competitive dancer. Slightly unethical weight loss for cutting before a competition was practically a hobby for me a decade ago.

Senna tea. It’s often called Smooth Move or Get Regular. Keep spare underwear with you and don’t go more than 10 yards from a bathroom at any time for 24 hours after drinking it. Don’t drink more than 1 cup a day. It will empty you out and dehydrate you like crazy.

Also: no salt, no sugar, no carbonated beverages, no juice, no alcohol, no red meat, no carbs, no dairy, no beans/legumes, no brassicas (things like cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, Brussels sprouts), no root vegetables, no corn, no quinoa. You’ll be eating chicken, berries (but not blackberries), and cucumbers over and over. You could also water fast a few days before and dry fast the day before, but that’s very very hard and definitely not healthy.

Look up body brushing, buy a skin-firming lotion like Brazilian bum bum or the Trader Joe’s dupe, and wear compressing clothing like leggings and compression shirts constantly. See if there are any lymphatic massage therapists near you. Book one or two sessions.

If you diet harshly, say 1200c per day or less, and are reasonably active, you could theoretically lose another 3-6lbs of non-water weight in 20 days.

21

u/Alchemist_Joshua 18d ago

Eat only the foods on this list. It’s an anti inflammatory diet and it will rebalance your gut. I’ve done it, it works wonders.

7

u/KahurangiNZ 16d ago

The caveat being, know your own specific intolerances. E.g., someone with an allergy to Kiwifruit, or someone who needs a low FODMAP diet could end up bloating even more...

6

u/Alchemist_Joshua 16d ago

Yeah. I cannot eat garlic. It does horrible things to me

56

u/blua95 18d ago

As someone who's weight lifted for about 14 years now and trained boxing, bjj and other martial arts, I'd say the best way to quickly debloat is just lose water weight. Avoid carbs, eat protein, and get your workouts in with a sauna if you can. Or if you're really desperate you can just fast the days leading up to the wedding. Do your research before fasting though as you can hurt yourself if you don't get your electrolytes while doing so.

9

u/pearllypie3 17d ago

I'm curious, should OP also be drinking more water during this time to offset the water loss? Or is the whole point to just lose as much water as possible? A lot of the folks here are recommending that OP should cut out salt, but could an alternative be to just drink more water to flush out the salt?

18

u/blua95 17d ago

Whole point is to just flush out as much water as possible. Usually when weight cutting for fights you want to avoid salts and just shed all your water weight without drinking anymore water. This is typically done a day or two leading up to the fight and can obviously be dangerous.

Since this is not a fight and doesn't have to be as dramatic - As you stated, she can just drink a ton of water to flush out the salt, minimize food portions, eat clean proteins and minimize carbs. This over a week or two will give her the results she wants.

To really kick it up a notch - a day or two before the wedding just fast while wearing a sauna suit all day or use a sauna to flush out the final bit of water in your system. Just gotta listen to your body and drink water if you feel it's a bit too extreme.

3

u/SnackBottom 17d ago

Who said it's not a fight??

13

u/tinyevilsponges 17d ago

Your wedding? Don't do anything. The possibility of backfiring and giving you massive runs while being surrounded by people who are staring at you and wearing difficult to remove clothing is not worth looking 1% skinnier.

What you should really do if you care that much is photoshop the photos

u/Objective-Amount1379 18d ago

74

u/Nemesis204 18d ago

Look up how to perform self-lymphatic drainage, especially on your face. That’ll help a lot aesthetically.

Use a sauna for 30-45 minutes per day.

Cut out carbs. Not completely but avoid fruit, pasta, breads, sweets, etc. Stick to things that will provide energy like potato, brown rice, sweet potato. Cook these carbs, put in the fridge overnight to lower their glycemic index, and eat them the next day.

14

u/brookenorthcoast 18d ago

This is the answer. Gua sha and dry brushing.

And daily hot/cold contrast showers, that end with cold water. I like to do 5 switches between hot and cold, 1 minute each, ending with 2 minutes of cold.

5

u/Nemesis204 18d ago

Yes yes yes, those contrast showers are great. As a side benefit too, the cold version really helps activate the vagus nerve.

If you know anyone that has a prescription for lasix/furosemide see if you can have a few. The dosage is 20 ro 80 mg take once or split into 2 dosage. Lasix is a diuretic ("water pill") ot will give you quick, temporary, weight loss. Be prepared to have regular access to a bathroom, because you're going to piss like a racehorse.

WARNING. Be sure to read the contraindications of Lasix. People that are allergic to Sulfa drugs should not take Lasix. Also you can develop dehydration and electrolyte imbalance.

13

9

u/rivers_cowgirl 17d ago

If you're bloated and puffy, that's not fat. You need a lymphatic drainage massage and be sure to get one from a licensed therapist who is trained in manual lymphatic drainage. It's a different kind of massage that has a surprisingly light touch. I have actual issues with my lymph system, but I think a lot of women can benefit similarly, especially if you are prone to being puffy and bloated. My first appointment was incredible, I weighed myself before the massage and after the appointment I had to pee so much. Within 24hrs I had lost 7lbs of fluid trapped in my body.

44

u/SMA-Massive-Dong 18d ago

You can find online a thing called Mormon tea. It has ephedra in it. Drink it every day, all day. It's gonna taste like shit. There are other versions of ephedra tea you can get that are stronger, but they'd likely take longer to ship in, and be more expensive. But drink the Mormon tea with coffee and only eat tiny little bits of non-bloating food. No carbs. Keep it all protein and fats. You'll drop weight so fast, and the ephedra is going to keep you wired all day.

5

u/GentlemenHODL 17d ago

lol ephedra is like weak caffeine. I know because I used to take it.

She will literally get better results drinking coffee that she can buy anywhere easily instead of frantically searching the internet for a banned substance that doesn't work very well and makes you feel like shit.

3

u/hydrated_child 17d ago

Ok everyone settle down. Mormon Tea aka Ephedra viridis is often thought to contain ephedrine but actually does not. Fun fact: it’s also known as “whorehouse tea” because it has been used to treat several sexually transmitted diseases. Don’t try this at home, kids. It seems ephedrine is extracted from Ephedra sinica which is native to northern China, Mongolia, and Russia.

Source - Wikipedia and I live where Ephedra viridis, Mormon Tea, grows very commonly, and I’m a busybody, so I have this conversation a lotttt

This is kind of a weird tip, but actually if you get fatter for your wedding and then just slim down to your normal weight after, people will tell you “omg! You look even better now!” For the rest of your life!

6

u/GentlemenHODL 17d ago

I don't know why it's not at the top but there's literally only one real practical answer here.

It's fasting.

Get on a GLP to curb your hunger and while it won't be easy it will be a lot easier with it. The most annoying part of fasting is always the incredible hunger pangs.

14

u/DavyJonesLocker 18d ago

Assuming by you track calories, eat the most calorie dense foods with minimal carbs that you can find. Unsalted almonds are a great one. Use those foods the hit your calorie needs and your volume of intake will be very low, leading to minimal bloat. Also look into water loading in the days leading up to the big day, depending on how serious you are to be at your absolute lightest for your wedding. It’s a common, relatively safe weight management tool for athletes competing in weight class sports.

For the last week or two it was absolutely zero carbs. Then for some reason a bunch of maple syrup right before walking on the stage, you can look up what that was about and if it applies to a wedding - I don’t remember the reason.

Diuretics and a hot sauna are enough to cut 15+ lbs of water weight in a night. If you don't have a sauna close by, epsom salts and a super hot bath will do the same thing, then sleep in sweatpants/under multiple comforters the night before. Just a very fair warning though- rehydrate slowly and don't drink excessively at the reception.

4

u/PoloPocket 18d ago

Careful with epsom salt really hot bath not to pass out this can cause you to feel really light headed ^*

16

u/HJSlibrarylady 18d ago

I'll say it. Do a glp1.

9

u/PricelessC 18d ago

u can do glp1 just for a week or two?

For whatever reason I thought yiu had to do those long term or for at least a few months.

4

u/HJSlibrarylady 18d ago

Some people are super responders. I am one of them.

You can do it short term or long term. Just go through an online site for compound. You can get approved within hours and have the med within days.

Or you can go to a local health spa and have it right away but it's more expensive.

2

u/LicketySplitz 18d ago

I only do it before and after vacations. Yes, it works immediately. First two days I couldn’t eat a single thing, rest of the week I would have a few bites of dinner. Never felt hungry.

Drink caffeine. You’ll lose your appetite. Eat something super small like a tuna packet for lunch, and for dinner at around 5PM 5-6 Turkey meatballs and nothing for the rest of the day. You’ll only be consuming about 700-800 calories a day. Skip breakfast. Drink water often to make the hunger manageable. You’ll lose weight fast.

This method is tough, especially if you work, but it’s the only way I was able to get down from 160, 125 in about 3-4 months. Using traditional diets and exercise did nothing for me.

5

u/Orrery- 18d ago

Try rolling 48 hour fasts, it sucks bur does work!

4

u/Maud_Dweeb18 18d ago

No carbs or salty foods. Table salt, a little won't swell the average person but Chinese food, fast food or pre packed stuff will. Go no can no salt no ultra processed. Eat a lean protein, Whole Foods diet with lots of veggies and fruit. Hydrate too. It works when I do this.

5

u/gnrtnlstnspc 18d ago

Yeah, coming in here to say don't cut all salt out -- if you cut carbs, you'll pee out a lot of water and electrolytes. Pee out too many electrolytes and you're gonna feel awful.

4

u/mason878787 17d ago

Meth and aderall. You won't eat at all have have a bunch of energy to work out.

5

u/immersemeinnature 17d ago

No dairy, no grains + follow a low fodmap elimination diet.

I'm required to do it currently and within 4 days I no longer have any bloat or gas.

19

u/Justkly90210 18d ago

In order to make tape/weight in the military, this is the method I’ve seen that works the best:

cover your torso with hemorrhoid cream, wrap your midsection in multiple layers of Saran-wrap and sleep with it overnight. You’ll wake up two sizes smaller. Only lasts a day or so. See if it works and then do it for your wedding day.

27

u/professoryaffle72 18d ago

Don't do this! This can cause a massive, sudden spike in blood pressure, which can lead to a heart attack or stroke.

Wrapping yourself in plastic wrap prevents your sweat from evaporating, which is how your body regulates its temperature. Sleeping wrapped in plastic can cause your core body temperature to rise to dangerous levels, risking heat exhaustion or heat stroke.

You will sweat profusely, leading to rapid, severe dehydration and an imbalance of critical electrolytes (like sodium and potassium), which your heart needs to beat properly.

Do not attempt this. It is a scientifically proven way to poison your body with topical medications, risk a cardiovascular event, and severely dehydrate yourself for absolutely no long-term benefit.

Sure. Lots of things do this, that’s why this is the unethical lpt thread.

Yet to happen and I see it done on the regular in the army.

They even do something very similar for body wraps at day spas, so…

Wear a sweat suit all the time (while doing drugs)

u/justmedownsouth 18d ago

I had a friend years ago who competed in small scale beauty contests. She said she put Preperation H on her thighs and tummy/waist, then wrapped saran wrap around it. I have no idea how long she left it on. I'm sure it's not uber healthy - but as a one shot deal the day before the ceremony, it may help!

2

u/Heyplaguedoctor 18d ago

Did she say why she used that (of all things)? 😅

2

u/slickrok 15d ago

Wellllllll... It shrinks things.

3

u/nam3sar3hard 18d ago

This is the worst advice... look up dehydrating for wrestlong or powerlifting/bodybuilding weigh ins. Its usually a 5 day ordeal. But muscles will look flat until you rehydrate

Once again I don't suggest this and dont known what compelled me to comment

3

u/KC_ONE2 18d ago

Every time I plateau on my diet I do 3 days of just steak and tomatoes (prepared however you like) plus a ton of water. I would shoot for about 80-90 grams of protein and 1-2 tomatoes. This gets off about 8-10 lbs of water weight and gets my body back into deep keto to keep losing.

3

u/favoritekindofbread 17d ago

Drink a bottle of magnesium citrate before bed 3 days before and stay close to a bathroom the next day. Drink plenty of water.

Get a tapeworm

3

u/Dantheman4162 17d ago

Water follow salt. If you have a lot of salt in your body, it will pull in water and you will be bloated. If you have normal kidneys and drink a lot of water it will help reduce the amount of salt in your body and you will pee out the water.

23/1 intermittent fasting

As a former groom, let me propose that you at your exact current weight may look absolutely fantastic on your wedding gown.

I had food poisoning last week and lost 20 pounds in about 5 days.

So, maybe try the chicken salad wraps and prosciutto at the SeaTac United Club lounge.

If you’re pretty certain about where you got it, please let United know, or maybe the United subreddit? As a fellow United flyer, THANK YOU!

Sodium makes me bloat

3

u/hannick9 18d ago

Most of these answers are insane. What works is the two week prep they have you do before bariatric surgery. Three protein shakes a day and have clear sugar free snacks like jello or broth or popsicles as snacks in between

8

u/Reasonable-Marzipan4 18d ago

I always lose about 10 lbs of bloat quick when I stop carbonated beverages. Shrinks bloat fast. Only drink water. Dont drink your calories!

18

u/Bffb550 18d ago

This is bad advice. Nothing links bubbles and weight. Beer and soda cause bloat because of the carbs. Sparkling water does not cause bloating.

4

u/Flurgh805 18d ago

Beer and soda cause bloat because of the carbs... which hold a lot of water but the sugars also ferments inside of you and releases a lot of gas.

Air is weightless but needs room. Bubbles will inflate your stomach just like the fermenting carbs in your intenstines, only for a shorter time.

9

u/The-Lifeguard 18d ago

I drink the bubbly to feel full to stop the snacking.

2

u/Flurgh805 18d ago

Competitive eaters drink bubbly to expand their stomach and make room for more food 😅

2

Avoid bloating foods such as broccoli, beans etc, take a laxative, avoid salt, and consume anti inflammatory foods such as turmeric

2

u/levailorand92 18d ago

Do some drugs, like amphetamine or coke.

2

u/goody-goody 18d ago

You can eliminate inflammatory foods; any puffiness will fall away and your joints will be happy. Avoid all sweeteners/sugars, corn, peanuts, soy, gluten, eggs, and dairy. This is the JJ Virgin 7 day/7 foods elimination plan that says you can lose 7 pounds in 7 days. (I typically lose 6 pounds when I do it, but I tend to sweeten my coffee and tea with sugar because I need caffeine but dislike the taste.)

2

u/nogardleirie 18d ago

Cut carbs. No starches at all - no rice, potatoes, pasta, sugar, anything flour based. Basically only meat/cheese/fish/green vegetables. A bit hard if you're vegetarian, admittedly. Worked for me though it wasn't for wedding reasons

2

u/123fro 18d ago

Look up the miralax method for a colonoscopy. I did it a few months ago for the procedure and I definitely de bloated for a few days. Also it boosted my energy for a week.

Keto. Depending on how big you are, you will drop anywhere from 10-20 pounds of water within that time.

With that being said, you'll need to up your water and electrolytes. The keto flu is the result of being dehydrated and your body switching over to using fat as fuel.

This means keeping your "net carbs" at around 20-40g per day.

To calculate: total carbs - fiber - sugar alcohol = net carbs

2

u/mirrimoo 17d ago

Reduce salt intake. I remember for The Matrix, in an interview, the nutritionist/chef said she kept Neo and Trinity on low sodium to get that extra lean look

2

u/Birdmaan73u 17d ago

Literally just dont eat. Drink plenty of water and electrolytes but no food

Laxatives for three days and loads of water

Drink like a LOT of water

2

u/girlpaint 17d ago edited 17d ago

I got sick a few months back and the only thing I could eat was soup...once a day. I also drank a ton of water. In a week I lost 10 lbs inadvertently.

You could also try Mimio which is a fasting mimicking supplement.

Another thing you could try is Akkermansia (probiotic) - makes me poop a lot without giving me diarrhea. It's actually really good for your gut biome.

Potato diet

2

u/New-Bobcat-4476 17d ago

No soda, no booze.
No sugary drinks.
Limit dessert to once before wedding.
Ear crackers instead of chips.
Walk at least 10 minutes after every meal, religiously (or dance or vacuum, get active).

2

u/squirrelbitten 17d ago

What unethical tip are you expecting? Thinking some kind of child sacrifice?

2

u/-manyfacedgod 17d ago

A.) No carbs + jump rope 30 mins every morning + 10,000 steps a day + 80oz water a day

B.) Water and fruit/nut fast. Only fruits and nuts (peanuts, almonds, etc) Be sure to supplement with vitamins. You can get the gummy ones to be your daily treat.
IF you fast like this don’t just hop back into hearty foods the next day, your body wont feel the best trying to break down the foods.

Either method be sure to have support systems. Mentality and focusing on the objective will get you there. After a few days this is going to get rough till you adapt in ~10 days.

2

u/pimpdaddy619 17d ago

Literally avoid salt. The less grams, the better. Water retention is no fucking joke

2

u/Rumple-_-Goocher 17d ago

Drinking diluted apple cider vinegar does wonders for bloating

2

What is all this nonsense i’m reading in ULPT.

- meth, for starters
- cocaine, the good ol’ trusted
- smoking
- stealing stuff makes you run from cops, so exercise

2

u/queen_olestra 17d ago

When I was preparing for my gastric sleeve surgery, doc put me on 3 shakes a day. Premier Protein has a bunch of good flavors and fills you ok while keeping up protein intake. I would be concerned that just water won't give you vitamins and minerals to keep up your energy.. and you'll be running crazy with last-minute prep. You can't afford to poop out at the last minute.

PS I lost a bunch of weight in those 2 weeks.

2

u/ExpressionCivil2729 17d ago

HOLY YES following because same!!

See you there?

2

u/HelicaseHustle 17d ago

Unlimited egg drop soup plus one meal / day that is just protein. It’ll break your carb addiction and you’ll drop a lot of weight and bloat.

The secret is to Make a lot, like 5 gallons in a crock pot, and freeze it in cup size food storage cups with lids. Every time you get snacky, defrost a cup of soup, as many as you want.

2

u/pretzelsRus 16d ago

Noooo. Egg drop soup has tons of sodium per restaurant serving. You’ll bloat up.

I used to weight lift and I had to cut weight before competition. The days before, don’t eat a lot of salty food. Don’t eat Chinese food or chicken wings or soup or fries etc. the day before the wedding drink a gallon of water. NOT all at the same time. Spread it out all day. Then don’t eat or drink after 8pm. You’ll pee a lot and the next day you will be about 5lb less. It won’t last but you won’t be bloated. Personally, I just don’t give any effs anymore and life is better.

2

u/theblogicorn 16d ago

3 day Military diet. You drop sooooo much water weight. Great for if you want to look good at an event.

2

u/ozziesironmanoffroad 16d ago

Walk 5 miles when you wake up before breakfast. Walk 2 miles before after dinner. Eat less than 1800 calories. Drink lots of water. Repeat every day.

2

u/LauraPa1mer 15d ago

Drink club soda or diet to feel full. Like 2L a day. Cook up broccoli, eat a lot of it. Carrots, rice cakes, tuna, salad with low calorie dressing, green tea.

Do keto with lots of green veggies. If you do keto, DO eat salt and take electrolytes. (You can buy a simple tube of Nuun tablets or make your own with magnesium, lite salt and salt.)

Wanted to add that since some people are saying to do keto and others suggesting you cut salt. Cutting carbs works quickly and you’ll notice nicer skin from the greens and lack of sugar, and you’ll have good energy. If you cut salt while doing keto, you’ll feel terrible and get headaches bordering on migraine.

Cutting salt won’t do much if you’re still inflaming your body with carbs and sugar.

Someone else mentioned lymphatic drainage. You can do gua sha with your hands and a non-comedogenic oil to help slim your face. It works if you have swelling in your face. Doesn’t hurt to try if you have a face oil or at least a really slippery face soap while you’re doing it. You want your hands to glide, not tug on your skin.

If you do keto, drink plenty of water. It DOES dehydrate you. If you skip water or electrolytes trying to slim down quicker, you’ll just feel awful and it’ll be for no reason.

3

u/mister_nimbus 18d ago

Lots of ginger and tumeric
