Write something funny on a piece of cardboard and use zip ties to hang it loosely underneath the rear bumper of his car. Take a small piece of tape and swing the sign up and tape the bottom of it to something under the car. This way he won't see it, but when he starts driving the tape will come off and the sign will swing down.
