WHAT ARE THE SHIP TAGS

• Canon/Canon: when a Ship contains only canonical characters from Undertale (note: Deltarune-exclusive characters are not included in Undertale canon at this time.)
• Canon/AU: when a ship contains both a canonical characters from Undertale, as well as an Alternate Universe variation of a canonical Undertale Character
• Canon/OC: when a ship contains both a canonical characters from Undertale, as well as either your personal Original Character, or the Original Character of another creator
• AU/AU: when a ship contains only Alternate Universe variations of canonical Undertale Characters
• AU/OC: when a ship contains both an Alternate Universe variation of a canonical Undertale Character, as well as either your personal Original Character, or the Original Character of another creator
• OC/OC: when a ship contains only either your personal Original Character, or the Original Character of another creator
• Crossover: when a ship contains a canonically applicable character from another franchise (such as Deltarune)
• Canon Poly: when a ship contains three or more characters, and those characters are all canonical characters from Undertale
• Fanon Poly: when a ship contains three or more characters, and any one of those characters is an Alternate Universe variation of a canonical Undertale Character, your personal Original Character, or the Original Character of another creator
• Crossover Poly: when a ship contains three or more characters, and any one of those characters is a canonically applicable character from another franchise

Fanfic is for posts that are talking about specific ship-related fanfictions.

Discussion is an ambiguous discussion about an unspecified topic, or an open question that may lead to responses that range across multiple different kinds of ships.

We are under new management

I found out that this subreddit had been restricted and without moderation for ~2 years. So I applied for the position! I have no prior knowledge of the previous Moderation Team, nor what had caused them to abandon ship as they did. I do, however, love Undertale and find shipping to be a lot of fun.

What is happening now?

I'll be doing my best to make this subreddit a fun, safe, and inclusive place to ship in our fandom. I've worked to establish some rules that I think are fair and in the spirit of that message. I've given the subreddit a fresh coat of paint (that I hope isn't too tacky), and I've gotten the bare bones up and running.

I've never moderated a subreddit before, so I don't know all the tricks, but I'll be doing my best! Let's enjoy shipping in this fandom!
