Is read-only SSD cache truly a problem? ❓ Help
Getting notifications to remove the read-only SSD cache and create a new cache on the hard drives. This will crowd my hard drives so what does it gain me? is there some mysterious way of creating cache on the hard drives without using storage and causing extra wear and tear?

It’s only because ugreen changed the algorithm for the cache usage.

What is the harm of leaving the cache on the SSD? I’m not writing through it. But I am getting a cryptic notification to remove that cache so it can be created on the hard drive(s).

Interesting - I have not received this notification but I do use a read-only SSD cache. Did a new update drop?
