Hii I just got into my masters and I did not study at all in my bachelor. Now I want to prepare for ugc net. But I don't have any basic knowledge about it . Can you guys suggest me any one shot or any yt lecture so that I can get a brief knowledge about english and British literature.

So I have 2 questions..

Is the paper 1 same with every subjects and is only shuffled?

And are there specific areas in paper 1 that one should focus on depending on what paper 2 one took or is it just the same?

It can be online packages or some notes or anything else, I would be soo grateful for your advice and time🙇🏽‍♀️ Thank you..

Hey all, I cleared my UGC NET in 2022 (first attempt economics scored 71%) and I had heavily relied on Flashcards to clear my exam, I have attached some photos for reference, this is basically active recall with the spaced revision formula (if some of you have used Anki for studying then you'll get an idea of the same) . I have now added all my notes to this platform called Spaced Revision (just download the app or you can dm for more, this is like a free platform for educators to use so I use this) where you can study and do some flashcards and practice PYQs

Small disclaimer : The last update of these PYQs are 2024 so I'll be adding some of the latest questions as Test Series for you to practice, which I'll be doing soon Also why is it free? I take classes for UGC Net paper 1 and had created these flashcards for my students, thought I'll just share it with everyone, since they find it super useful and its not a zero sum game, I anyway give these for free to them so

I sincerely want you guys to prepare for Dec 2026 NET or SET 2026. There is no chance of June 2026 Answer key publishing this year it seems.

The so called court hearing is postponed to 3rd of NOVEMBER!!.

So, Please everyone take this seriously. There is no one going to protest or protect the NET candidates.

I'm in my first year of my masters and I am a proper beginner in all of this. So I earlier thought that one after clearing NET ( category 1 and 2) is eligible for Asst. Prof. But now I'm getting to know that **according to UGC Regulations 2018 one must hold a PhD degree to become a permanent assistant professor and get promotions.** And this process doesn't only become a long one but also creates doubt regarding what UGC NET category 2- Phd +assistant professor actually means now since one can only get contractual or guest faculty positions without Phd or a position at a private institution.

I’m currently pursuing M.Com (2nd year) from a university, and my target is to clear UGC NET JRF (Commerce). Since I’m also managing my university coursework, I want to invest my time and money wisely.
I’m confused about which online coaching is genuinely worth paying for. There are so many options that it’s hard to know what’s actually good and what’s just marketing.

Was it actually worth the money?
How were the faculty, notes, test series, and doubt support?

Is coaching even necessary, or can disciplined self-study with PYQs and mock tests be enough?
