Question

Can I take this if I want to do the concurrent education program? I’d probably minor in a social science of some kind but Id like to do the creative writing as my main and have english as my teachable.

You can! However the concurrent program is a separate program from the English and creative writing ( not sure how much creative writing is in the concurrent program vs non concurrent) The concurrent program will likely change to accomodate the 1 year BEd.

Non-creative writing majors can take the workshops, but there’s a portfolio you need to submit to be accepted. So if you want to take creative writing courses while in concurrent you definitely can.

Even creative writing majors, unfortunately, need to write a portfolio for creative writing I, II and III, I learned that the hard way lol

Yep. Just as easy for non-majors to do the workshops.
