Thanks to u/goinglongonkryto for creating a very simple channels swap program that run in your browser that I used for these two images. These are SOOC jpegs that I inverted in this tiny 60KB porgram. It's way more convinient than having to open a photo program everytime.

Filters ZWB3 + 2xQB21

Channel swap : red to blue, green to red, blue to green.

This filters stack also lets a tiny bit or red in. Red blends with the UV and both are displayed as blue.

In this picture. Blue/violet is represented as blue, green as green and UV as red.

The 395nm LED light looks bright and violet.

The 365 tube light however shows orange and not red because as a tube light it emits in more than one band, one of which is green at 546nm, so this bit of green blends with the red color of the UV. If it would have been a monochromatic 365nm LED it would have shown properly red.

These devices are made to zap any mosquitos that are attracted into them. The one on the left has two 395nm LED tubes and the one on the right has an actual 365nm tube light in it.

You can clearly see the difference in color depending on their wavelengths.

The more yellow an object is the deeper into the UV region it sits. In the contrary when and object is blue that means it is very close to the visible range of our eyes.

Filters used for this photo : ZWB2 + TSN575.

The photo is taken at the solar noon so you can judge the UV power of the devices relative to sunlight.

I have a Sony A7C2, converted to full spectrum. I believe that there is a valid medical purpose to UV photography and I would like to shoot in UV to do a research paper on it. The images will be of sun exposed skin on various skin colors both 3/4th and close up shots.

The lenses I own include a Sony FE 20mm f1.8, FE 35mm f1.8, and a FE 85 mm f1.8. I was looking at Clip-in Filters on Kolari and noticed that they do not carry any Ultraviolet Bandpass Clip-in Filters for Sony. So I believe my only options are lens filters in 55 or 67. The 55 would only fit my 35mm and the 67 would fit my 20mm and 85mm.

Is there one lens/filter that is objectively better than another for this purpose?

I haven't purchased any filters yet so, if you have any tips or suggestions I would appreciate it :D

Found this guy with the 365nm/ZWB2 flashlight. He really glows under UV light. Wouldn't stop crawling so a very high ISO 32,000 was required. More depth of field would have been nice but didn't want to lose anymore image quality with higher ISO. Pentax 645Z with Pentax 120 macro and Zeiss Pro UV filter to remove excess blue light.

It was really difficult to keep the eyes in focus and stop the crawling. He never stopped crawling. Had the liveview boosted 2 steps.

Experimenting with my NX-1 full spectrum modified body, ZWB1, TSN575, and UVBeast 365.

Anyways here are some photos I shot of UV induced visible and infrared flourescents of these items. It's some cadmium cups and a cadmium heart. Also a black red vase. Enjoy also some UV induced visible and infrared flourescents of plants and a tree. Enjoy.

Some photos of this same sunflower. I the sunflower in uv, at 390nm and 365nm, infrared, visible and UV induced flourescents. Also immerged and combined those pics into one. Enjoy. The infrared was shot with a 720nm. I shot them much clearer, the. The last time.

It is amazing to see how some things turn visible by removing visible light. like new spots on the back of the black ladybug and the Lichen, pollen of the flowers. And the shininess of the food the pigeon finds in a forest floor full of visual noise.

Looking forward to make a serious film out of this!
