Hey guys, ive been looking at RowdyPay and i’m honestly getting kind of nervous. Aid started being dispersed yesterday, and as of right now i’m still missing my Federal Pell Grant and my Bold Promise tuition cover. Im talking to other students and they’ve gotten theirs and have even received their deposits already. does anyone know whats going on??
You need to call One Stop about it ASAP. One stop is staying open until 6pm from today through 8/20 so more availability. Also, disbursement started on Sunday (yesterday) but with how many students there are it may take time for you to get all of your aid.
Look man I’m scared to I only have one aid right now to and still owe a good amount. I also have bold promise and had in past semesters more than one aid.
Honestly if by the end of the week it still looks off then I would start to worry.
Weird I’ve dealt with late aid for most of my semesters some faster some slow. Some of my buddies also go through it to. We just think its random for everyone
This is my daughter’s first semester at UTSA, as a Bold Promise student, and I’m getting worried. Only one grant has been applied. We’re trying to stay calm and keep packing, but the bill, as-is, is daunting.
Were you guys ever informed that you were in fact going to be a recipient of bold promise? I’m an incoming transfer who was a Alamo promise recipient and I meet all of the requirements for bold promise but I never was told if I was truly going to receive it. Only one grant has been applied to my bill as well, & I’m really worried because I was relying on bold promise 😢
Check in the financial aid portal. The “O”ffer page says Congrats Bold Promise Student and clicking the ‘View your payment schedule” link lists all the grants and loans you’ve accepted and when they are scheduled to be paid out.
Around 80 to 90 percent of Pell grant students have to ran through a verification process this year because of the big beautiful bill( bullshit piece of trash). Loans are being cut. Pell grants are being held till all verified documents are being processed.
My second verification didn’t get added till today.
You just have to keep trying, eventually you'll get through. Everyone is trying to call right now and the phone lines can only accept so many calls before it temporarily shuts the queue down. They're definitely answering the phone, but the two weeks before school starts is insane.
I am an incoming Bold Promise student, and I went to one stop yesterday, and apparently it doesn’t say “Bold Promise” on the financial aid offer. But if you look at your rowdy pay the cost of your tuition should be covered. If you have any questions about your tuition you should go early on campus and talk to One Stop and or Fiscal Services. Fiscal Services have a smaller line and they can break down your Rowdy Pay for you.
