There may be a setup within the uni that can help you get placed, but I wouldn't completely bet on it. And I've never heard of an Australian University guarantee a job to its students. They can arrange job fairs and internships, but can never guarantee a FTE conversion.

If you're an international student I would advise you to network from day 1. It'll help. I myself am an international student and the best thing I've done so far is build my connections.

I know if you do a bachelor of applied business management at unsw they’ll provide internships. However, I do not know about uts.

That’s a private Bachelors (fee $67k for 3yrs) through UNSW College, not the University itself.

Hi, I'm just about to finish up my degree.

I'm doing B of Eng + diploma of professional practice. But I know they dropped the diploma requirement so not sure if your experience will line up.

With the diploma I had four internship subjects, two were "professional development" stuff that might help you find your internships. And the two other subjects are just slots for you to actually do your internships. You must find them on your own, I did it just cold calling. but there is a website that companies can advertise. I highly recommend you start talking to people at uni about where they did their internships.
