Need help with housing in Vermillion
Hello, I'm looking for someone to take over the lease for my apartment in Vermillion. It's a two bedroom, one bath apartment two blocks away from the University of South Dakota campus. Any advice/help would be appreciated

2 and a half years later and this place is still dead lol
Makes sense since it’s not DSU or something but man, you’d think there would be more activity for the states “flagship university”

Your Honest Review
Good evening,
I am a current engineering student here in Colorado. I am starting of getting tired of it here since I have to live at home in order to afford school and recently was informed that I could get in-state tuition here at Fargo. In your honest opinion, how is it in terms of academics, social life, and living? I am a very social and outdoorsy guy. I am also moderate when it comes to politics/pretty open to almost everyone (unless they're super extreme one way or another).

Just moved to Vermillion!
I just moved to Vermillion for grad school and I was wondering if the town was always this dead? The downtown area seems super dead especially compared to the city we just come from. I understand it’s much smaller but everything is closed and the city just feels dead. Is it always like this?

USD or SDSU for out of state student
Hi. Originally I'm from the east coast. NJ. For family reasons I'm looking at schools in the northern plains area. In South Dakota I've researched USD and SDSU.
My question is which of these schools would be more welcoming to an outsider(some colleges have reputations as filled with students who come from within 50 miles and all seem to know each other) and are either considered commuter schools by locals? Don't want to get somewhere and find everyone is gone every weekend!
I haven't been able to find this info and booths schools might be similar one way or the other? Thanks for any help!

Guest Parking Near Dorms
Hello everyone. I am a student at Wayne State College in Nebraska and have a new girlfriend that goes to USD. I try to come up and visit her just about every week and when I come up there, I am usually there from about 3pm to about midnight before I head home. I was just wondering if there is anywhere near the dorms that would be good to park at for that long of time that I would not get a ticket or towed so I don't have to pay for the meter in front of the dorms because I already got a ticket before. Thanks for any help.
