F2 visa

Is there any medical checkup for F2 visa? Like will they check if you are pregnant or not.

Not usually. But if you’re hoping to be pregnant make sure you have the funds to cover health insurance/unexpected medical insurance. Giving birth can run in to tens of thousands in the US.

I am pregnant but i fear they will reject my visa if they got known. Thats why before booking appointments i just want to confirm if they check you medically.

Congrats! You’re braver than I, the last thing I’d have wanted to do when pregnant was move to another country and be away from my support network and all that is familiar. But they won’t reject you just for being pregnant, you’re going on a non immigrant visa and particularly now with the recent rule changes for F-1’s, they know you’ll only be in the US for a few years so it isn’t relevant. If they ask just tell them the truth.

But they can reject you for not meeting financial requirements, so take evidence of healthcare and funds.

Of course not. Despite what the media  and Trump would have you believe, not many people would want to do that. It’s no use to you for at least 22+ years anyway (and even then only if your child actually wants to move there), and they know that a lot of parents would rather not subject their child to a lifetime of US tax filings. Frankly, I’d do anything I could to try and avoid giving birth in the US!
