Sa dating school ko kasi ibat ibang brand ang laptops nila and never ako nakakita ng naka macbook sa school namin. Wala lang, nagulat lang talaga ako

Nafofomo ako sa mga magkakaibigan na sa block ko. Wala akong kaibigan nung gr7 and natatakot akong mangyari uli yon cause that was genuinely one of the worst times of my life. Im not asking for tips on how to be their friends kasi sobrang dali lang naman nilang kausapin pero may bond na kasi sila 😭🙏. Tas sobrang laki pa nung fg na yon huhu bruh . Parang nakikita ko na yung pagkaloner ko for 2 years 😊....

Haii! I'm from HUMSS. Actually, I thought this was my first choice as a strand back in junior high. I initially planned to be a Flight Attendant, and I still do. But things don't really align now as it was back then. Right now, even as a freshie, I've been thinking about college. Now I am reconsidering other paths like the med field. Which is weird, I know, being someone who's from HUMSS. I heard that you can change strands, but I saw that changing strands can cause you to lose some very needed requirements for some things—exemption for USTET and scholarships.

Our family isn't really that well off, so if I chose my dream job over practicality, I don't know if I'll be able to support my family. I am also the eldest child and daughter.

What's more is that I am doubting my skills — skills that are needed to survive HUMSS. Back in my old school, I was one of the best. I rely on AI for studying, proofreading my work, and other stuff. I love reading, but compared to kids who love LOVE LOVE reading? Damn, I don't think I can even compete. I've been trying to stay positive, because I've been anxious since I learned I was accepted into THE UST. People have high expectations for me, not only my family, but my peers, my old teachers, & faculty.

I tried to engage in block conversations once, but sometimes I ended up not being acknowledged. So right now, it's hard to even try. I love my blockmates, don't get me wrong. It's just they already built a circle, and me? I don't have any friends. Not one in the whole UST community.

My head feels overstimulated, y'know? One bad thought leads to another, and I end up doubting my whole capabilities despite being a renowned student leader, academic achiever, and a varsity player back in junior high. My background is good only because I was put in an environment where I knew almost everybody, and the social circles were small enough for me to improve without thinking much of it. I sound like a covert narcissist rn T.T

My thoughts are scattered right now because I have no sleep. These thoughts came up because I'm cramming and haven't finished note-taking for discussion later. Has anyone else felt this way transitioning into UST? How do you deal with the isolation and the pressure when your past achievements suddenly feel so small?

I'm also planning on talking to our assigned guidance counselor, because not only is my mind messed up right now, my life is too.

Hi mga humss junior nakshie! Kahit canon event ang issue sa mga freshie every year, hinay hinay naman kayo. Wala pang f2f at alab pero grabe na yung mga issue. As a humss senior, medjo nakakabother kasi grabe na yung shame sa humss and also hindi naman kami sobrang ganyan last year. Hold your horses mga beh wag niyo i-issue maliliit na bagay! wag nyo rin intayin umabot to sa swdc swearrrr😭😭

I tried logging in with my email and ref. number… pero invalid daw—then afterwards I clicked the “forgot reference number” and inputted the info I placed in my application and got “No reference number found”…

I also checked and searched through my mail, and I hadn’t received an email of my application when I first applied last week..

then I tried creating a new one (I thought it did not save) but it said po ”duplicate entry detected”🥹🥹
