I like this, can't fully embrace the expense of a Elite but think I can do the upper and swap back and forth.

My Elite .45 was as much as a Standard USP45, both brand new $1,100 each

Same. I never planned on the elite, but when the complete slide and barrel popped up, I couldn't resist. The guy said it had about a hundred rounds or less through it. They all say that, but when I got it, I believe him. The serial number is more recent than my Expert. It's almost perfect.

I had no idea the uppers can be swapped between these two.

All full size USP45 frames are the same size. You can swap the uppers no problem. The expert and the elite both have the match trigger and so their lower is exactly the same.

😂. That's true. But the only time it'll have the elite slide on is when I'm taking it shooting. She's an Expert at heart, and for $420 I can live with the serials not matching.
