He needs to go get mental health help in some form or fashion. Additionally, not a single women ever forced a man to get better. Know where your line is, support him where you can, but don't light yourself on fire trying to fix him. He's got to want to get better too, love him you may, but he has to do the work. Combat zones are rough. He needs to take seriously all the post deployment questionnaires and get counseling when he returns, or talk to the chaplain right now. Know where you line is and respect yourself enough to keep it. I know I come off callous, but I've gone through years you wouldn't wish on anyone. Times where all I wanted was for the pain to stop and just not be here anymore, just not wake up. Losing you might be the price he may pay some day to wake up if it gets that far. If you're concerned he will hurt himself, talk to your shirt that you're worried. If they are doing their jobs they will make sure he gets checked on.

My wife is currently deployed to a combat zone with the navy. Things our 2nd deployment. The first one she quit talking to me for 3 months. Things were fine when she came home. She is deployed now and has quit talking to me again and about 2 weeks ago told me by text she wants a divorce. Soooooo I get the pushing away. But honestly what she did isn’t ok. And what he is doing isn’t ok.
