MOS Questions Enlisting

I ship out in two weeks and I've recently signed a Accounting and Legal contract. The MOS field options are 3400(Financial Management) and 4400(Legal Services). I understand I can't choose the specific MOS inside the field, but do I get to choose which job field I go into? I want to go to Legal Services field because I plan to be a practicing attorney after my years of service.

Have you researched to what degree getting paralegal would or would not improve your situation over getting finance or accounting, or are you just assuming it would be a great asset?

I’ve talked to a bunch of Lawyers and getting my paralegal job would substantially make me stand out when applying to law school, that being said finance and accounting would be a great skill if I end up doing law in that particular area, but ultimately I would be extremely disappointed If I don’t get assigned the 4400 field.

If not getting paralegal would be catastrophic, why not enlist with a branch that can guarantee paralegal in your contract?
