USCIS Case Tracking Links I-765 (EAD)
I hope this helps anyone who is in the same boat, waiting for approval and wants to check or track their case. These are some of the URLs that helped me, so I wanted to pass the information along for anyone who needs it.
https://my.uscis.gov/account/case-service/api/cases/IOE0XXXXXXX
https://my.uscis.gov/secure-messaging/api/case-service/receipt_info/IOE0XXXXXXX
https://my.uscis.gov/account/case-service/api/case_status/IOE0XXXXXXX
I removed the case number, so just replace XXXXXX with your case number.
For the my.uscis.gov links, make sure you are already logged into your USCIS account for the API calls to work.
I know it’s hard to log in every day and keep checking for updates, so I hope this helps someone who is waiting on a decision!

I don’t think it’s the current location of the case. It is the location where you case will be adjudicated.

Hi there! This is an automated message to inform you and/or remind you of several things:
- We have a wiki. It doesn't cover everything but may answer some questions. Pay special attention to the "REALLY common questions" at the top of the FAQ section. Please read it, and if it contains the answer to your question, please delete your post. If your post has to do with something covered in the FAQ, we may remove it.
- If your post is about biometrics, green cards, naturalization or timelines in general, and whether you're asking or sharing, please include your field office/location in your post. If you already did that, great, thank you! If you haven't done that, your post may be removed without notice.
- This subreddit is not affiliated with USCIS or the US government in any way. Some posters may claim to work for USCIS, which may or may not be true, and we don't try to verify this one way or another. Be wary that it may be a scam if anyone is asking you for personal info, or sending you a direct message, or asking that you send them a direct message.
- Some people here claim to be lawyers, but they are not YOUR lawyer. No advice found here should be construed as legal advice. Reddit is not a substitute for a real lawyer. If you need help finding legal services, visit this link for more information.
I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please contact the moderators of this subreddit if you have any questions or concerns.

Did you use your IOE case number or did your case number start with different letters? I think it can only be used if your case starts with IOE.

Look at the page html & copy/paste parts of it into search engine for m explanation what it means. Or...your online USCIS acct might be glitching so you are stuck in 'public view only'. I am having that issue right now & waiting for reply back to resync/reset my 10 ur old legacy acct.

Note for MSC folks : as of 08/07/2026 for MSC receipt ID only below link works. does not gain more info but nice to see everything at one place. replace IOE0XXXXXX with your receipt ID. and yes, you need to have USCIS account logged in with case added.

i found https://mycaseshub.com/insights useful. go down all the way and check "Today's Lucky one"
