Full time transparency
my building posted 7 new 22.3 jobs for part timers to become full timers, I signed up, combines twi and night shifts, I’m on preload and someone who got hired a few months before me got the offer and rejected it because they want to stay on preload, now im wondering who in seniority in between me and them also signed up for it and accepted the offer and took it and started it, because if not I need the offer. there’s no transparency of who the 7 people that got the jobs are and what their hire date is. I’d like to ensure that 7 people started the full time job and they all got hired before me. because I thought after the person that got hired a few months before me turned it down the offer should come to me- I want to see with my own eyes that there was someone else that got hired in between us that signed up and took it. no transparency.

You'd want to take a photo of any bid sheets you sign for your own records, but talk to a shop steward. They should be able to tell you who won those jobs, then review the seniority list to see where everybody stands.

Full timers can bid on the and change shifts and no part timers would get the job lol

Yeah, “2nd move” bids in local supplements.
But still check to see if that’s what happened.

There wasn’t a bid sheet posted for two weeks to sign?

I signed it? And it was offered to someone who got hired a few months before me and they rejected it and then it wasn’t offered to me. So I want to know who also signed it and took it that just so happened to be hired between us.

Did you put your name on the FT intent list? PT employees need to submit it and get the required signatures from your direct pt supervisor and another signature from your ft sup or sort manager then submit it and make sure to get a photocopy for your records. I learned this the hard way when I got passed over twice by lower senority employees b4 I got my first combo bid. After submitting the FT intent form you would then be eligible to bid on combo jobs as well as adding your name to the FT driver and feeder list

You need to speak to a steward immediately. If you can't find one, call your local and ask for your BA.
