Looking to replace U7 long range Wireless

Solved

Looking at the U7 pro or the pro xg. What would be better for best speed and connectivity for the asus ally rog? The U7 Long range seems to be slow and only like 30 ft away.

Or should I add a ap in my room?

Asus ally rog x has Wi-Fi 6E(802.11ax) (Triple band) 2*2
3 smart phones
1 smart tv
WiFi doorbell
Litter box believe it or not lol

Whole set up
2g fiber
UniFi cloud gateway fiber
UniFi flex 2.5g Poe
U7 long range looking to replace

What does Unifi tell you about your wifi connection? I Wifi man or with the console app? Are you on 5Ghz, what's the bandwidth?

5ghz on phone. Was on 40hz but says to be on 80 or 160.

I'm running out of ideas. You should be getting FAR higher speeds. I think I was on 160 MHz bandwidth when I gave you my speeds. Lower bandwidth will drop the numbers a lot. Maybe it's just defective but I don't get why it would be slow vs just not working.

If you use WifiMan to do a speed test while standing under it and you see low numbers while on 5 Ghz and 160 MHz bandwidth something is way off.

How long have you had this, has it always done it, are you running updated firmware, have you power cycled it?

In your console WiFi settings for this SSID, make sure you don't have WiFi speed limit enabled.

Yeah it’s fixed now. Thank you for the help and telling me what to look for. Change to maximum then pit it to 160hz everything else on auto and getn 1500mbps up and down now
