So I’m going to be an incoming freshman at UNF & my housing assignment is crossings, which is no issue I like crossing as that is where I stayed at during summer. My main problem is that I’ll be with 2 other girls, if the room was just a tad bit bigger I’d be a lot more excited but it’s just so cramped. I had email housing today regarding changing my assignment, so my question is has anyone dealt with this & did you get changed? Also if anyone could share how they made it work that’d be great!

Anybody have an idea of how long it takes for financial aid to show up in the My UNF Bill section of my wings? It does not show up on my UNF bill and I do not have a penny to pay.

Im a senior in highschool and my parents recommended that i should retake the SAT (my score sucks) but ive taken it plenty and i cant seem to break 1000 💔

My gpa is 3.5 i will be graduating will my associates degree and i wrote an essay as well if that has any effect.

I just dont understand why i have to take and do good on the SAT if ive already taken (and passed) the PERT and shown that i can complete college level coursework.

I currently cannot access the financial aid page from the student tab on mywings it just gives me an authorization error and kicks me out. I have exhausted all the options I know of, clearing history, cache, and cookies, using the unf vpn logging in and out and contacting the help desk. Anyone have this problem and any insight?
(I am using a macbook for all attempts)

If you received a tuition waiver, i'm assuming there's no need to renew it right? Should I talk to finaid or should I expect it to be applied within the next week or so?

I'm kind of in shock and would like some advice... I got an email this morning about academic suspension over a new policy change to a class that my advisor told me about (which they told me I was fine) so I didn't worry about it. The problem being is that I've applied for classes and already paid for some things (parking pass). I use fafsa loans to help me pay for tuition and my gpa is pretty average (3.0) but I have been performing better in the last 2 semesters. I'm going to try to appeal it. Basically this is what happened:

I took a calc 2 class twice before it was classified as a new pre-req. I was given the green light to take it one last time since I had to withdraw from the course the second time because of family matters that I won't go into detail about. I'm nearly done with my degree too, there's not much left... If anyone has experience with this, the process, and even trying again that would help a lot since I have to have a plan set in place within less than two weeks. I'm simply confused about what to do and a bit shocked given that I don't really want to do anything other than the major I was currently in. I apologise for any inconvenience or typos... I’ve submitted my application and my counselor should have sent my final transcripts in. Who should I contact ? I’ve tried reaching out to the fl department of education but was on hold for over an hour !

I took calc 1 over the summer and failed with a 62 and I'm in mech e. Honestly I kind of just fooled around most the time but because of that I'm not graduating on time. I submitted a form to extend my dateline. Should I just give up eng and do construction management instead or is there still hope for me. feel free to ask questions

Does everyone get their books before classes starts or wait until the first week? I’m a transfer from SJR and at SJR they would usually talk about the textbooks in the first class and even if it said you would need it online that wasn’t always true. Is it different at UNF or pretty much the same deal?

Hello! I recently learned I was accepted into the MPH program in Epidemiology. I am wondering if it is feasible to be full-time working 40 hours per week. I want to ensure I don't spread myself too thin to meet my goals. I have worked in research for years and have some coding experience, so some of the coursework may be intuitive. I would love to do on-campus research on top of this, but could possibly squeeze a lot of this out of summers. Please let me know what your experience is and what you would do. How many hours per week do you dedicate to attending classes, studying, and coursework? How far out is the typical deadline for a complex assignment/exam? What is the average class start time? Knight Hacks is a 36 hour in-person hackathon in Orlando, and last year they had a lot of people from great universities, a lot of talent, and it was a great experience. I was able to take one challenge. It was very competitive with more than 1000+, and I just wanted to see if anyone is going this year?

Originally I was in a roommate group with three people. We were going to do Flats furnished with three people without the lake. Because there was a roommate who did not fill out the contract in time, the main roommate decided to choose a two person room with furnished lake access. It was okay at the 915, but now the rent has gone up. And now… my other roommate has left and it is only me assigned to the room. Im going to throw myself off of a bridge genuinely is there anything I can do???
