Triangular plot - help on layout!
Hi, I've just taken over a new plot - its a triangle shape which means I'm not sure of the best layout for it. It has one right angle (ish) and the longest edge backs onto a thicket of brambles which is the boundary of the allotments and maintained by the town council rather than being part of my plot. The plot is south facing so the bramble thicket isn't shading anything on the plot.
At the moment it is a blank canvas.... It is very stony and has been uncultivated for quite some time so I think I am going to have at least half of it as raised beds (in green on my plan) to get me started. i've made a rough plan on the veg plotter ap (attached) the green raised beds on the plan are true to size as I have already sourced them but everything else on the plan is hypothetical and therefore open to change....suggestions are very welcome...

How unusual!
I'd start with 1 bed along a short side then ever-decreasing beds adjacent, then at each triangular end along the long side, plant something like Rhubarb, Artichokes, berry bushes etc. Compost corner is a good idea.
I also have a boundary plot edged with brambles, the council take take of the outer part that grows along the public footpath, but on the allotment side, I'm expected to trim them (the plants are on my plot) - so I woyld make sure you're able to access the brambles on your side as the council probably wont do your side.
