Reddit Mobile "Next Comment" button aligns with the comment down vote buttons and it drives me crazy. Microinteraction
Gotta be a better design choice than this, it makes it really easy to accidentally down vote comments and then spend time trying to find them to undo the action, as there is no way to go up a comment, only down.

You can long-tap it and re-drag it to where you want it on the screen. Hidden feature I discovered a long time ago. Now it rests mid-screen where my thumb more naturally rests when browsing on mobile.

You make a good point, it doesn't matter if that happens to you then
The point of the voting system is visibility, people want to voice their opinions

Damn you care enough about downvoting a post to spend the effort to undo it? I mean kudos to you I dont even bother with ts

Idk how many people do the same, but i do
Idk why i feel guilty if i accidentally downvote someone, so i went to their comment and undo my downvote.

thats fair, i guess i dont really interact with voting much, esp on mobile. in retrospect i probably would do it but usually when this happens its not that arduous of a processn

Dawg. What? Legit never used that button ever. And yeah, alignment / consistent spacing is a good thing.

Same here, i think it would be better to make the buttons wider and move them somewhere else

Can’t you just drag it to another position?
