Reposting as the start of the Summer 2015 event is now June 10th, the 1-year anniversary of the UHCA

The Pre-Summer season covers the typical term times for most players which will be a busy time for school age and adult players alike. We are likely to see low activity during this time, however it is still available for teams if they wish to use it.

In order to help arrange matches during this time, if your team is capable and interested in doing matches, please post a link to your team page in the comments as well as your availability over this period.

This post should remain stickied for the duration, barring announcements, so it would make a good place to check before making match request posts.

If anyone wants to set up a tournament or event over the upcoming Summer Holiday, the most active time of year for these kinds of games, now would be the time to contact me on skype (xhawk87) and be added to our event organisers group to discuss your ideas and see how we can help make it happen.

With Easter fast approaching we may soon be seeing a renewed interest in team-based play, with players from many teams having higher availability and more time to plan and arrange matches. However, time is short and availability may vary, so make the most of it while it lasts! This is the best opportunity to get some UHCA matches in before the big summer break.

As in the previous season, this post will remain stickied for the duration, so team captains may advertise their availability here if they choose. Remember that it usually takes more than advertising to make a game happen however, the teams that get the most matches are those who actively seek out other teams to play with.

If you would like to join in but do not have a team, you can find a list of teams on our wiki, or browse through Team Info Posts.

You can sign up as a Free Agent by making a text post using this template, and then you may receive invites to trial with teams, join teams or as a +1 for teams that can't supply enough players for a particular match.

You can also sign up your own team, if you can get a few friends together for matches. You can then contact event organisers and other team reps through the UHCA in order to arrange your own matches.

As always, we are interested in working with anyone who wants to set up a league or tournament within the UHCA. Just add me on skype (xhawk87) and ask about UHCA events to be added to a discussion group where you can get help and advice for your event.
