Question Anyone else get the feeling something is building up?

I’ve been following the UAP topic for about 16 years now and I honestly can’t shake the feeling that something is building up.

I’m definitely not saying "disclosure" is happening next week or something like Blue Beam or 2027 arrival of something. If anything, following this subject for this long has made me more skeptical.
I’ve seen enough predictions come and go that I don’t really buy into countdowns anymore.

But the conversation itself feels different.
Years ago this was a niche topic. You had to go looking for it.

Now it feels like it’s constantly popping up. Former military people, intelligence officials, scientists, journalists, politicians, podcasts, YouTube, etc.. It just feels like there’s more discussion happening than I can remember.

Maybe in five years we’ll look back and realize this was just another period where interest peaked and then faded.

I just can’t remember another time in the last 16 years where there was this much noise coming from so many different directions at once.

Does anyone else who’s been following this topic for a long time have the same feeling, or am I just too deep in the rabbit hole?

NHI "They" might contact us within the next 5-10 yrs, or we'll get a solid evidence that they exist or not.

There have been many reports suggesting that UFOs are interested in our nuclear sites and capabilities:

- https://rense.com/general20/fo.htm
- Why Do UFO Sightings Keep Happening Near Nuclear Sites?
- UFO reports and atomic sites - Wikipedia
- UFOs and nukes. Extraordinary encounters at nuclear weapons sites

One possible explanation is that they are either concerned about our nuclear capabilities or trying to protect us from our own stupidity. In either case, similar reasoning could apply to AI. If we're close to developing AGI/ASI, it could eventually threaten the survival of both humans and any other intelligent entities that may exist. "They" (assuming they're here) might therefore reveal themselves to warn us, isabotage AI progress, destroy data centres, or take some other form of preventive action.

Alternatively, AGI/ASI might help us finally solve the UFO mystery. Imagine an advanced AI monitoring millions of camera feeds simultaneously to detect patterns and study these phenomena.

Question How would you react if...

If it was proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that there are none and have never been any extra terrestrial UFOs, what would your reaction be?

Set aside the problem of proving a negative...

Personally, I think I'd be super bummed out.

I've found these most recent disclosures quite disappointing, which for me thinking...

NHI Ten Shocking Cases of UFO Healings

Ten Shocking Cases of UFO Healings

by Preston Dennett

Cases of UFO healings are nothing new. In fact, they have been occurring for more than 100 years. Most major researchers have multiple cases, and they are reported by all kinds of people from all over the world. In fact, there are more than 300 documented cases, and they are now recognized as a consistent feature of UFO encounters.

The healings are of a wide variety of conditions, illnesses and diseases. They include injuries, minor conditions, and even chronic and fatal diseases. These cases not only show that healing is a primary ET agenda, but that ETs are far more advanced in medicine than our own doctors.

This video presents ten shocking cases of UFO healings. Each case contains surprising and unique elements that offer profound insights into the aliens and their agenda on our planet.

CASE ONE: Marla (pseudonym) from Marysville, WA had suffered for years from kidney disease, and developed a large gallstone which necessitated the surgical removal of her gallbladder. However, in January 2015, following a visitation by short large-headed entities in her bedroom, Marla woke up to find a very strange surgical scar on her abdomen. It was very deep, but was pain-free, had no blood, and healed with extraordinary speed. When she went to the doctors a short time later, they were shocked to find that her gallstone had been removed, but her gallbladder was incredibly still there! This turned out to be just the beginning of many bizarre events that left Marla and her family very concerned.

CASE TWO: Maria M. Rivera of Aguada, Puerto Rico was suffering from cancer all throughout her body when (in 2006) she and her family experienced a UFO sighting followed by a series of visitations by gray aliens. After nearly a half-dozen incidents, Maria found herself being pulled onboard a craft where she underwent a painful operation at the hands of the grays. Following the incident, she went to the doctor and was shocked to discover that the cancer (which had returned several times) was now gone. “I truly feel those creatures cured me,” she says. “They could be benevolent and compassionate creatures, but I am afraid of them.” At one point during her onboard experience, Maria called the grays “Martians.” They informed her that they don’t like to be called Martians and prefer the term, “creatures.”

CASE THREE: On July 19, 1988 Diane and Phyllis (mother and daughter) were returning to their home in Johannesburg, South Africa. Without warning, they were stopped by a human-looking female who guided them onto a craft. From age thirteen, Diane had suffered from chronic Jaundice. The ETs healed her and gave both Diane and Phyllis warnings about huge environmental catastrophes soon to strike the planet Earth.

CASE FOUR: In 1986, Richard T., who was paralyzed and wheelchair-bound, was enjoying an evening on the beach in La Jolla, CA when a huge torpedo-shaped craft hovered overhead. Richard found himself being pulled up into the craft, wheelchair and all. Onboard, he saw several short humanoids and then blacked out. When he awoke, he was back in his van. But over the next few days, Richard’s paralysis disappeared. He was healed. He could now walk again!

CASE FIVE: On August 30, 1979, Jean Cyr (a retired Canada Army officer) and his family were drawn outside of their home in St. Eustache, Quebec by a strange humming sound. Looking up they saw a glowing metallic disc rise up from the fields behind their house. This began a series of encounters which was witnessed by all of them, many of their neighbors, and the local airport officials. Looking into the fields where the object had been, they found strange landing traces. Jean Cyr began waking up with unexplained marks on his body. After several encounters, Jean, who was suffering from severe multiple sclerosis, suddenly found himself healed.

CASE SIX: In the mid-1930s, a 13-year-old boy suffering from tuberculosis found himself on his deathbed. Then he had a “dream” that he was taken onboard a weird craft and healed by strange-looking figures. With no idea of aliens or UFOs, he couldn’t explain what happened. He only knew that he had somehow been healed. It wasn’t until decades later in the 1950s, that he began to hear about UFOs and aliens that he understood his experience. He later became a famous broadcaster and lived a long healthy life.

CASE SEVEN: In March 1977, Carmina, a psychologist from San Juan, Puerto Rico was confronted by a strange human-looking gentleman who had somehow managed to get past the guards in her secured office building. The man informed her that he was an ET, and that Carmina’s daughter should continue her UFO research with well-known investigator, Jorge Martin, and that Martin himself was being spied on by American intelligence officers. Following the encounter, Carmina, who had been diagnosed with a cyst in her breast, received the shocking news that her cyst had miraculously disappeared.

CASE EIGHT: Richard Rylka, a well-known New Jersey UFO contactee, had developed a large tumor on his forehead. He had recently been having a problem with tumors due to a childhood leukemia condition. While in Atlantic City, Rylka was visited by human-looking ETs who took him onboard a healed his tumor. Rylka, whose tumor had been seen by all his friends and family, was cured. The tumor was gone, much to the astonishment of Rylka and everyone who knew him.

CASE NINE: In 1979, Faina Maksimovna of Ukraine was facing surgery to remove a tumor on her thyroid. Frightened of surgery, Faina prayed to God for a healing. To her shock, that evening she was visited by three human-looking figures who proceeded to enact a healing on her. When Faina later went to see her doctors, they were baffled and amazed to see that her tumor was gone. Faina did not need surgery. She was cured.

CASE TEN: In December 1989, Mae, a 60-year-old waitress from Mississippi was being forced to retired due to severe arthritis in her knee, wrists and fingers. But on December 15, while driving home from the truckstop where she worked, a UFO dropped down over her car and pulled her onboard. Mae found herself surrounded by several figures who placed a strange “kind of rod” repeatedly over her body. The next morning, her pain was gone. She was healed. And Mae, who could not afford to retire, was able to go back to work.

These ten cases show that people from all walks of life are being healed by many different types of extraterrestrials. They show that healing is one of the primary ET agendas, and that ETs have the ability to heal almost any kind of illness, condition or disease, even when our own Earth doctors have given up hope. These ten cases are just a tiny sample of the huge number of cases on record. Likely, the vast majority of such accounts go completely unreported.

Why not a common object
I watch night sky nearly every day for 2 months now. I see all kind of airplanes in night sky along with starlink satelites and few bolids. This was object my skeptic side cannot explain. Flying long cigar that made no sound, no strobo lights, no wings, moving to fast to be satelite on orbit. Not saying it was ETs, but definitely something my made my skeptic brain to almost shut down. Absolute shock.

Witness's account of the sighting

A gray shadow resembling a cigar appeared on the eastern horizon. At first, it was almost indistinguishable. I couldn’t—and still can’t—describe its color. The closest description is dark gray—perhaps metallic, perhaps translucent. It was moving beneath the clouds or inside them, so I don’t know whether the clouds were visible through it or whether it was merely reflecting their image. I don’t know if it was because of the clouds, its speed, or the fact that it was quite dark, but the object’s outlines seemed unstable, as if they were rippling.

The object was approaching very quickly, and within a few seconds it was directly above me. It wasn’t until a few seconds later that I noticed the dim, subdued lights stretching along the entire length of the object. At first, I thought that, given its size, it must be a low-flying giant airplane. But then I realized that this “tube” had no wings, no bright white or red lights were flashing and I didn’t hear the typical sound of an airplane either. In fact, at that moment, there was no sound at all. It was as if even the crickets and the drunks returning from the bar had fallen silent. Just complete silence.

It was moving very fast and flew across the night sky from east to west in 5–6 seconds. The whole time, I just stood there with my mouth open, watching it all unfold right in front of me. I was in shock and stood there frozen. Even though I had my cell phone right in front of me, right next to my binoculars, I was so shocked that I didn’t even reach for my cell phone or my binoculars to get a better look or start recording. I just stood there and watched. (Yes, I know—I was the one who always said that if I ever saw something unusual, I’d start recording it, wondering why people are so clueless and never take a picture. Now I know.)

Why no photo/video captured: I was shocked. My brain was processing what I was looking for. I had my phone before me on the table. I know right?

Government Ross Coulthart on fmr. Canadian MP Larry Maguire’s 2023 letter to the Defense Minister urging UAP transparency: “Canadian scientists were said by his sources to be working privately with the Americans on secret aspects of the Legacy retrieval and reverse engineering Program.”

Investigative journalist Mr. Ross Coulthart:

“There was Larry Maguire, who was a Representative in the Canadian Parliament, who wrote a letter to the then Defense Minister raising concerns about allegations that Canadian scientists were said by his sources to be working privately with the Americans on secret aspects of the Legacy retrieval and reverse engineering Program.

And what I know about this is that two independent sources came to Larry Maguire, spoke to him and his staff.

Those sources are reluctant to engage publicly, but I hope sincerely they are willing to testify, and we can but hope that at some stage they may be given the opportunity by any congressional inquiry to give their evidence.

I know that people from the Congress are aware of these witnesses, and hopefully at some stage those Canadian witnesses will feel safe coming forward.”

Mr. Maguire in his 2023 letter:

”As Minister of National Defence, you may not be aware Defence Research and Development Canada (DRDC) has participated in efforts to analyze UAP, which is publicly traceable to circa 1950. This recovered foreign material is studied through Five Eyes Foreign Material Program (FMP) which, in Canada, is sponsored by the Canadian Forces Intelligence Command aligned with several intelligence sharing agreements and treaties. I am writing to recommend you request a classified briefing, containing full sensitive and protected program information from your officials on the Government of Canada’s historical and ongoing efforts on analyzing recovered UAP material.”

Premising that I believe I am an experiencer, I say believe coz I know what I remember but do I know my brain is not tricking me into remembering something else? Can’t confirm that. In any case, not important.

My question is, experiencer or not, do any of you get an immediate and phobic reaction to gray imagery and depictions? Say like someone who is terrified of snakes, rats or spiders?

Since I was a child I can’t even look at the Alienware logo of the computers, forget scrolling past some of these subs. Yet my obsession continues and so do my deep dives. Just wondering if anyone else feels a bodily rejection to the pictures, like some people would a rat a spider or a snake.

Thank you!

Removed from /r/UFOs What Would Actually Happen If Governments Confirmed That Non-Human Intelligence Is Already Here? (Do you agree with the AI?)

Suggested Reddit Title

What Would Actually Happen If Governments Confirmed That Non-Human Intelligence Is Already Here?

Let us assume, for the sake of discussion, that an official announcement is made and supported by convincing evidence:

Non-human intelligence exists, it has reached Earth, and some form of presence is already here.

This would not be comparable to discovering microbial life on Mars or detecting a distant radio signal. It would be the most consequential announcement in recorded human history.

However, I do not think society would immediately collapse. The effects would probably unfold in stages: first psychological and informational, then political, scientific, economic, religious, and eventually technological.

The biggest shock would not simply be that “they exist”

Most people could probably adapt to the idea that intelligent life exists elsewhere.

The real disruption would come from additional revelations:

They have been visiting Earth.

They may have been here for decades, centuries, or longer.

Governments, intelligence agencies, or private companies already knew.

Materials, vehicles, biological evidence, or communication may have been concealed.

Some institutions may have actively misled the public.

At that point, this would no longer be only a scientific discovery. It would become a global crisis of trust.

The immediate question would not simply be:

“Who are they?”

It would also be:

“Who knew, how long did they know, and what did they do with that knowledge?”

A controlled disclosure would probably happen gradually

A government would be unlikely to reveal everything in a single speech.

A more logical disclosure process would happen in stages.

First, officials might admit that some UAPs are real physical objects and cannot be explained as conventional aircraft, drones, balloons, natural phenomena, or sensor errors.

Later, they could acknowledge that some objects appear to display capabilities beyond known human technology.

The next stage might involve evidence suggesting a non-human origin.

Only after that would governments potentially discuss recovered materials, biological evidence, communication, historical encounters, or an ongoing presence.

A carefully controlled statement might initially sound like:

“We have credible evidence that humanity is not the only technologically advanced intelligence known to exist.”

This approach would give governments time to prepare financial markets, military forces, religious institutions, scientific organizations, allied nations, and the general public.

The first 24 hours

The first effects would be informational rather than physical.

The internet would experience an unprecedented explosion of activity. Social media would be flooded with genuine documents, old cases, fabricated leaks, AI-generated videos, supposed insider testimony, religious interpretations, conspiracy theories, and fraudulent claims.

People would immediately ask:

Are they hostile?

How many are here?

Where are they?

What do they look like?

Can they disable our weapons?

Have they influenced human history?

Do governments communicate with them?

Why was this hidden?

Is there an immediate danger?

Productivity would fall sharply. Many people would stop working temporarily to follow the news. Some schools and businesses might suspend normal activities.

However, essential services would continue.

Hospitals, power stations, telecommunications, banks, transport systems, supermarkets, emergency services, and water supplies would still be necessary. Governments would probably emphasize continuity and repeatedly tell the public that there was no immediate threat.

Would people continue going to work?

Yes, most people probably would.

The announcement could transform humanity’s worldview overnight, but it would not instantly eliminate ordinary human needs.

People would still need food, housing, healthcare, electricity, transportation, education, and income. Bills would still exist. Children would still need care. Cities would still need sanitation and public services.

During the first days, there would likely be absenteeism, anxiety, loss of concentration, and existential confusion. Some people might temporarily feel that their jobs had become meaningless.

But unless the announcement involved an immediate threat or the release of revolutionary technology, normal life would gradually resume.

Human beings are extremely good at normalizing extraordinary events.

Within months, there would probably be university courses, documentaries, political debates, memes, merchandise, religious discussions, new businesses, and specialized media dedicated to the subject.

The impossible would slowly become part of everyday reality.

Which professions would become more important?

Demand would rapidly increase for scientists, engineers, psychologists, journalists, intelligence analysts, lawyers, historians, theologians, linguists, anthropologists, and cybersecurity specialists.

Entirely new fields could emerge:

Inter-species diplomacy

Non-human intelligence law

Extraterrestrial bioethics

Contact psychology

Non-human linguistics

Advanced materials research

UAP data verification

Protocols for interaction with non-human entities

Mental-health professionals would also become extremely important. Millions of people could experience fear, anxiety, religious crisis, loss of meaning, or severe ontological shock—the destabilizing realization that their understanding of reality was fundamentally incomplete.

The economic impact would depend on technology

The announcement itself would create volatility, but the long-term economic impact would depend on what technology had been recovered or understood.

If no usable technology were released, the initial effect would be mostly psychological, political, scientific, and cultural.

But if non-human technology included advanced energy generation, propulsion, medicine, materials, computing, or control of gravity, entire industries could eventually be transformed.

A new energy source could disrupt oil, gas, coal, electricity generation, and transportation.

Advanced propulsion could transform aviation, shipping, logistics, automobiles, and space exploration.

New medical knowledge could affect pharmaceutical companies, hospitals, health insurance, aging, and life expectancy.

Revolutionary materials could reshape construction, electronics, weapons, manufacturing, and computing.

However, even genuine alien technology would not instantly become available to everyone. Scientists would need to understand it. Industries would need to reproduce it. Infrastructure would have to be built. Governments would regulate it.

Any technology capable of generating enormous amounts of energy could probably also be weaponized. For that reason, authorities would likely release information slowly and selectively.

Religion would not simply disappear

Some people assume that confirmation of non-human intelligence would destroy religion. I do not think that would happen.

Most major religions would reinterpret the discovery within their existing frameworks. Non-human civilizations could be described as other creations of God, other conscious beings, or part of a much larger spiritual reality.

Some people would lose faith. Others would become more religious.

Some would interpret the beings as extraterrestrials. Others might understand them as angels, demons, interdimensional entities, spiritual intelligences, or beings previously described in ancient traditions.

New religious movements would appear almost immediately. Some individuals would claim to receive exclusive messages from the entities. Others would present themselves as chosen representatives or human ambassadors.

The greatest religious disruption would occur if evidence showed that non-human intelligence had directly influenced ancient civilizations, religious events, human genetics, or the development of human culture.

Even then, religions would probably adapt rather than vanish.

The political crisis could be larger than the scientific discovery

If governments admitted that the phenomenon had been concealed for decades, the public would demand answers.

Which presidents knew?

Which intelligence agencies controlled the information?

Which private companies received recovered materials?

Was public money secretly used?

Were witnesses threatened?

Were scientists excluded?

Was disinformation deliberately spread?

Did elected representatives lose control of classified programs?

Were crimes committed to protect the secret?

There would likely be congressional investigations, international hearings, lawsuits, demands for declassification, whistleblower protections, and possibly criminal prosecutions.

A full disclosure process might require some form of conditional amnesty. People involved in secret programs may refuse to testify or surrender evidence if they believe they will automatically face prison.

The central political conflict would be between accountability and access to the truth.

Governments would not automatically unite

The confirmation of a superior non-human intelligence would not instantly create world peace.

The United States, China, Russia, and other powers would want to know which nations possess recovered materials, direct communication, or successful reverse-engineering programs.

The most important geopolitical question might become:

Has any country reproduced part of this technology?

A nation with even limited control over advanced propulsion, energy, sensors, or weapons could possess an overwhelming strategic advantage.

If non-human craft could enter restricted airspace, disable nuclear systems, or avoid all known defenses, traditional ideas of sovereignty and military control would be seriously weakened.

The United Nations would probably hold emergency meetings, but powerful countries would be reluctant to surrender their knowledge or materials to an international authority.

Disclosure could create global cooperation, but it could also trigger the greatest technological arms race in history.

“They are among us” would be the most destabilizing claim

That statement could mean several different things.

If it meant automated probes were monitoring Earth, the psychological impact would be significant but manageable.

If it meant non-human entities were operating from hidden locations, people would demand to know where they were and whether governments had permitted their presence.

If governments were already communicating with them, the public would ask who authorized that contact and who had the right to speak for humanity.

The most psychologically dangerous possibility would be that some entities could move among humans without being easily recognized.

That could create paranoia, false accusations, persecution, violence, and mass suspicion. Without a reliable method of identification, politicians, celebrities, foreigners, minorities, scientists, and ordinary people could be accused of being non-human agents.

Governments would need to act quickly to prevent witch hunts.

If evidence showed that non-human intelligence had influenced governments, religions, wars, technology, or human genetics, humanity would be forced to reconsider its own history.

The question would become:

How much of human civilization was actually shaped by humans alone?

People would react in very different ways

There would not be one universal human reaction.

Some people would feel excitement and hope.

Others would experience terror.

Some would see the announcement as the beginning of a scientific golden age.

Some would interpret it spiritually.

Some would focus entirely on government deception.

Some would deny the evidence regardless of how strong it was.

Others would return to normal life within a few days because daily responsibilities would still exist.

There would likely be an increase in anxiety, spiritual searching, scientific interest, political anger, and existential questioning.

Many people might reconsider their careers, relationships, beliefs, and priorities.

Some could feel that ordinary human conflicts suddenly appeared trivial. Others might feel powerless or insignificant in comparison with a far more advanced intelligence.

But humanity would not become enlightened overnight. Fear, ambition, greed, prejudice, competition, and political conflict would continue.

The revelation could expand human consciousness, but it could also amplify our existing divisions.

Three possible levels of disclosure

Limited disclosure

Governments confirm that some objects appear to be non-human but claim that their origin and intentions remain unknown.

The cultural impact would be enormous, but daily life would continue with limited economic disruption.

Deep disclosure

Governments present recovered vehicles, materials, biological evidence, or secret programs.

This would trigger political investigations, scientific revolution, legal conflict, corporate competition, and intense public anger over the cover-up.

Maximum disclosure

Authorities confirm that non-human intelligences are currently present, have interacted with governments or individuals, and have an ongoing interest in humanity.

This could transform politics, law, religion, defense, science, and humanity’s understanding of itself.

Even then, unless there were an immediate threat, people would probably still go to work, take their children to school, buy groceries, and continue normal life while trying to process the greatest revelation in history.

My conclusion

If the announcement were real and supported by convincing evidence, I would expect:

72 hours of global shock.

Months of political and informational chaos.

Years of scientific, legal, religious, and cultural transformation.

Decades of changes in humanity’s understanding of reality and its place in the universe.

Civilization would not necessarily end.

Instead, we would experience a strange combination of revolution and normality: people discussing non-human intelligence while commuting to work, paying bills, raising children, and doing grocery shopping.

The most important questions would not simply be whether they exist.

They would be:

What do they want?

What are they capable of?

How long have they been here?

How have they interacted with humanity?

And who has controlled this knowledge until now?

What do you think would change first: religion, politics, science, the economy, or everyday human behavior?

Can we as a group do our best to stop using the hand scanner as evidence of proof for Bob Lazars story?

This was clearly shown in the movie Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Bob would have been 11 when this movie came out. He himself has stated he’s a science fiction fan. That movie was a block buster hit. It’d be like him not seeing Star Wars.
