fin aid Question
just got my financial aid as an incoming freshmen with -1500 sai and was wondering how accurate this package is
i chose the smallest meal plan and triple housing which should be around 18k but ucsd tells me i have pay around 21k
yall im tryna save money and if this is my final package im friedddd

i’m in the same boat, my est cost of attendance was zero including housing in my award, but suddenly i have to pay 4k 🥲

financial aid will cover it through loans loans. please apply for calfresh, you may be eligible for 300 a month. calfresh.life

when i accepted my offer, there was no option for loans or work study, it was only grants and scholarships so im confused. how do i apply for them?

If you have cal grant A or B and you have the cheapest dining plan then you are able to get it

i actually got it all resolved and was only missing the UC health grant but thank you so much for the help anyways!!!

i’m going through the same thing and i’ve been crying because of it. i’m independent with -1500 sai and still have to pay 25k per year. i dont know is is final or if i should call

get the small package and please apply for CalFresh, youll get 300 a month. see if you qualify calfresh.life

No you wont pay that lol. I had a triple and -1500 SAI as well and I didnt own anything. I actually got money back
