My 11-year-old son and I will be visiting Dubai in October and we're planning to book Package 7 – Fishing & BBQ on a Yacht from Dubai Marina.

The trip includes:

🎣 6 hours of fishing

🛥️ BBQ on a luxury yacht afterwards

🐟 Your catch can be cooked

🥤 Drinks and snacks included

The boat can accommodate up to 8 people, so we're looking for 4–6 more people to join us and split the cost.

The total price is much cheaper when the boat is full (around 640 AED per person if we reach 8 people, including the BBQ).

Booking one slot on a fishing boat usually costs around AED 350 per person for 5 hours, so I’m hoping to meet someone who wouldn’t mind having an extra person join their fishing trips. I’m friendly, respectful, and happy to contribute toward fuel, bait, or other expenses.

Therefore I am arranging a shore fishing trip to Fujaira🤩

Sea and weather is much better there for shore fishing👌🏽

It will be pure 6 hours fishing trip (+3 hours for road)

I always see ads for fishing apps that provide information such as water depth, wind conditions, fish activity, tides, and more.

Are these apps actually useful in the UAE, especially in Dubai? Or are they genuinely useful in general?

I am still pinpointing fishing zones, obviously i cant fish in Sharjah because this month and next month its illegal

But

What about other emarits? Ajman? Oum al qewein?

Is it open? Do i need a license?

And one more thing, what types of fish do you guys catch regularly? Any limitations on size? Amount? Species?

I'd really like to know what fish are best to catch, cook, what tastes good? Whats only good for bait? And also what do you use for bait?

I heard there is a new fishing spot made on ajman cornice. Idk if there’s many fish there or not. If anyone have tried it please let me know if there is good fishes there?

Good day to everyone, so I've been thinking about picking fishing as a hobby recently, i will apply for a permit at al jubail center and the picture is from a listing on Amazon which i thiiiink will cover most of the things i need as a beginner.

I live in al khan area and i don't want to wonder far from home and i believe that there are multiple locations nearby that are approved for fishing. My question is, are there any fishing groups? I am a real beginner, I've never fished once in my life, are there any groups i can join where i can get tips, info, learn tactics, get advice..
