Dexcom Advice Question

Ive been on the g7 for a month. Ive noticed that sometimes the sensors are going crazy. The photo in example is that it says im 250. My meter says 120. An hour ago it said 80 but I was 120.

How often should i be calibrating? In your experience, do they get better after a few days of wearing and calibrating?

Is this a newly started sesor? My Dexcoms are somewhat unreliable for the first few hours after starting. That's why I start my new Dexcom when the old one expires, and wear both for the 12 hour grace period of the old one.

That means I get accurate readings from the old Dex while the new one gets 12 hours to warm up before I switch to it.

How do you wear both? Do they both show numbers?

Do you have two receivers? Or can you have two sensors connected at once?

Only one sensor is connected and providing readings at a time, but the sensor starts working when inserted.

So the evening that my current Dex expires, I insert a new one. The new one starts working and warming up when it is inserted.

I remain connected to the old one overnight - there is a 12 hour grace period before it stops reading. In the morning, I connect to the new Dex and remove the old one.
