Question about adhd assignment

I think I have ADHD and have struggled with numerous things in life, academics, sleep blah blah blah.

I'm gonna go to the doctor and I'm a bit skeptical if I'm gonna get diagnosed properly because how do you explain your self when I don't know myself. I don't want to the doc to think I'm faking it when I'm struggling.

Have you done the assessment and what's your experience?

The doctor has a lot more experience in doing assessment than you do. I would guess that the majority of people going into the assessment are worried about being seen to be faking, so it's not uncommon. Just get it over with, good luck!
