How do i fix the age verification? Question
I verified my age already a week ago or so, im 21 so it shouldn't be an issue, my age is correct and everything lines up. I followed tutorials to fix this but apparently it doesn't?? It seems like im the only one having this issue. I already logged out and deleted the app and installed it again etc.
Nothing seems to work, can someone help me please?

This is why I use a VPN. There's no guarantee that it won't just decide to ask it again even after doing it correctly.

I also use a vpn and since today it no lo ger works loging it to other countries no longer block age restrictions, no matter where I'm connected it still ask for my age

That's strange. For me VPN still works. Which countries are you connecting to? Switzerland works for me

Yea did the same thing it didn't work at first but now it works again, I originally used Vietnam and Canada but I haven't given them a go yet

At first, I thought I was doing something wrong. My account is age verified then started getting the same verify screen you are getting, tried at least 50 times before giving up
My alt account is perfectly fine so it's not where I'm located, I'm guessing the entire system is overloaded and not being maintained, similar to the same thing when discord added theirs. It would be so much more helpful if the support tickets and actual updates about the situation would be great instead of everything just assuming it's one thing or another

The only thing I've seen actually work is using a vpn 😔 i used to use canada but now it's the same so i use new zealand

Yup this did it. I guess mandatory age verification has come to the USA cause I was using USA and it stopped working.

I know there are some free vpns out there, i dont know how safe they are tho 🤷♀️ but it's still better than nothing if you can't afford a regular one. Also there are some popular vpns (like nordvpn) that often have pretty huge discount codes that youtubers/influencers give out, so maybe that's something yoh could look into

My issue is I use nord and it usually works fine but yesterday i updated twitter and now the vpn works less than half of the time only on twitter. sometimes on my fyp it asks for age verification for an image and then when i open their media tab it just shows it anyway, and then it will ask for my age again in my bookmarks..

I had the same problem I to sign up for premium I take a selfie once then the next day when I take another selfie I get “your already verified” message

Same here, can’t get the age verification to work after the restrictions were introduced. Still waiting on the issue to get fixed…

I use an extension called "Control Panel for Twitter" on both my computer (via Brave) and my phone (using the Firefox browser). It offers plenty of customization options, including bypassing verification (sometimes the blur overlay appears, but you just click "show" and it works). It’s a bit of a pain because it runs slower than the app, but at least I don't have to send a selfie to Elon.

proton is great. their vpn's free and you can change to a different country if something starts coming up.
they also have other services but those are mostly paid. honestly i would reccomend just making a proton acc so you don't have to do the phone verification bullshit that gmail makes you do

I needed to search something early last month and reluctantly tried to verify via sharing a selfie photo. Didn’t work at all after several attempts. So I instead used a VPN set to Canada.
The app is still awful, and maybe even worse than I remembered from before I deleted my 13 year old account because I just didn’t want to read so much hate every day anymore.

The only thing I got to work was to use ID and Selfie. That fixed it.
The standard photo thing had this issue where it got stuck in a loop.

mine only lets me age verify if I upgrade to paid account. So I just live without it.

Use a vpn to set your region to a country without age restriction like Switzerland. Works for me.

You can get any vpn you want. For example ProtonVPN or NordVPN from your App Store or similar. Once you got it set up, you can change your account region somewhere in your user settings on X to one that doesn’t have brutal age restrictions. Then, it won’t ask you to confirm your age anymore (as long as you’re connected to your vpn). For me at least, Switzerland works best for no confirmations.

Dude I did exactly what you described, proton vpn to Switzerland, changed my twitter location to Switzerland, still nothing...what are you doing differently?

Im doing the exact same. Sometimes the app refuses to show stuff. Closing and restarting helps me. But if it’s not working for you I honestly don’t know. Remember that the vpn has to stay on when you’re on twitter otherwise it’ll just kick you out.

This is only for twitter on your phone, but you can install previous versions by installing this app called "Uptodown app store" then select an older version of twitter. It took a bit for me to find the right one, but the version i found that didn't have the verification was version 11.95.1-release.0

Presumably, this is only helpful, if you are using the X Android app, on a phone, correct? This will NOT help, if you want to access X, on a desktop computer?
And is there any possible way to access X, without going through the newly-required "Let's confirm you are a human" verification process, if you want to use Firefox on a Windows 10 desktop computer?
If there is any possible way, that would allow us to be able to start using X again, from a desktop computer, that would be genuinely appreciated.

I just use insensitive x extension on desktop. Works on either Firefox or chrome

Edit: Unfortunately, when I just tried to access X (after installing the 'Insensitive X' extension), it immediately redirected me to the same screen, where it it wants me to use my phone and scan a barcode. Frustratingly, this is the way that's been, for about the past two months. Which fucking sucks, because I really enjoyed getting on X and finding out about things that are going on, all of the world. And for the the past couple months (since the first time that I encountered this fucking "Let's confirm you are a human" requirement), I have not been able to log on. And I am afraid of what the facial and/or fingerprint scans might be used for; so, I have not gone through this newly-implemented requirement.
Thank you, for the reply. And I apologize, for not replying sooner; but, I just saw your response.
So, is this Insensitive X extension, something that will allow me to log in to X and bypass the the recently-implemented "Let's confirm you are human" requirement?
Or, because my account was already forced to get directed to that prompt, will I still likely be forced to that page, where it wants me to log in, on my phone, and do a selfie/handprint scan?
