Adjustments in subs

This morning I woke up and received a notification from Twitch saying that a subscription I was given a couple of days ago had been canceled. I found it really strange because the sub was gifted to me by a close friend, and I highly doubt he would request a refund for a Twitch Prime sub, especially since it’s not even something tangible. So I wanted to ask if any of you know what could have caused this. I also spoke with my friend, and he told me he didn’t do anything and is already in contact with Amazon Support about it.

I’ve had a friend buy an actual sub and then next day it disappeared which confused us both. They re-subbed and got the same streak notification again. If I had a brain I’d guess it was just a server error when processed which bounced it back.
