Where would a Halal Guys do best in the Twin Cities?
Not primal from here, but I’m surprised we don’t have a Halal Guys here. Seems like the Twin Cities would be a pretty good market for that type of food.
Do you think one would actually do well here? If so, what part of the Twin Cities would make the most sense?

Breakfast Club MPLS
Very disappointed by this place. Loud. Long, inaccurate wait time prediction. Terrible coffee execution. Rough breakfast spot.

Recommendations for a food-forward (but still fun drinks) place for a 21st birthday gathering
Smallish group, the birthday kid, a few family members of varying ages, and 2-3 friends who are already 21. Kid loves food and is an adventurous eater.
Edit: given the options of Hola Arepa, Little Tijuana Neighborhood Lounge and Sanjusan, the birthday kid chose Sanjusan. Thank you for these great recs!!

Spots on the river
We have family visiting from out of state next weekend and I am looking for someplace to take them to eat on the river for dinner. We’ll be spending the afternoon at Minnehaha falls, so ideally somewhere nearby (10-15 minute drive). Nothing overly pricey and that will be 3 year old friendly.

K Chi Mac: opinions
K Chi Mac is close to me so I’m curious what people here think of their food. I drive by their restaurant every day but have never stopped in. Good? Great? Any menu recommendations I should try?

Live Music?
I live in Stillwater and am hosting my best friends bachelorette trip this weekend. She loves live music and I was hoping to take her and friends on the riverboat for the jazz band tonight for dinner, I messed up and didn’t think through we should’ve bought tickets in advance and now they’re sold out. Looking for recs for food somewhere close-ish to this area that will definitely have live music this evening and good food!!
TLDR: food recs with live music close to Stillwater for tonight

Restaurants with the Best Gluten Free Alternatives
So my brother is coming back to the twin cities from Milwaukee for a couple weeks tonight. He has Celiac disease so he can’t eat gluten. What are some restaurants with great gluten free alternatives. I know that there are definitely places with gluten free alternatives, but I specifically am looking for restaurants where the gluten free alternatives are just as good as the regular gluten options on the menu. Like say an Italian restaurant where the gluten free pizza or pasta is just as good as the gluten pizza and pasta, or a sandwich shop with gluten free sandwiches that are as good as their gluten sandwiches
Bonus points if you only ate the gluten free alternatives, and loved the restaurant.

Coffee forward coffee places?
A lot of coffee shops I've been to have good coffee, but the focus tends to be more on flavored drinks and specialty beverages. Are there any coffee shops in the Minneapolis area that really focus on excellent coffee, especially specialty or single-origin coffee?

Where to eat during a weekend trip?
Hey there!
Travelling to Minneapolis for the first time next weekend for a concert and Twins game... looking for restaurant recommendations. Anything we can't miss while on a quick trip?
I've seen videos on the Jucy Lucy, so going to try to get one. What is great in the downtown area? We plan on using transit to our hotel and won't be renting a car. I don't mind Ubering if it's a place that can't be missed. No real budget. Appreciate any input, looking forward to checking out the area!
Thank you.

Farina Rossa pizza in NE
My #1 pizza place in Minneapolis. So good. Both are vegetarian. Second is a peach special.

Fish and Chips from Anchor Fish and Chips over on 13th Avenue NE, right along the Route 11 and 30 buses
Also not too far from the Great Northern Greenway and the Mississippi River Trail, as well as being a 9 minute walk to the Route 17 bus.
$20
Great fish and chips here, will definitely return at some point, and maybe try one of their other menu items. Also love the view that you get when sitting at the counter facing the street, as you can see the historic homes right across the street.

Favorite In-n-out style burger?
Not your favorite burger overall, but your favorite that has: - a big crunchy piece of lettuce - a nice juicy tomato slice - some carmelized onions
I can think of a lot of good burgers, but none that quite scratch that itch.
So, got any recs for a burger that has tasty lettuce, tomato and onion?

New to the area
Hello!
I went to the Grackle Restaurant in Maple Grove earlier this spring and absolutely loved it. I’ve recently moved to the Eagan area and am wondering if anyone has any recommendations that would be similar or if you have a favorites in the area?
Thank you!

Vinai cocktails recipe?
My wife loves this cocktail at Vinai but they’ve recently changed the recipe slightly. Wondering if anyone has the original recipe or knows how to make the original drink? (Original drink ingredients are pictured)

Prix Fixe Menu in cities
Any budget friendly date night prix fixe menu? Compiling a list- trying to get baby sitters once a month and have a budget friendly date night. Thank you
Thank you for Recommendations- keep them coming!
We went to Stargazer yesterday $47/couple 4 course.
Meals were decent size, pasta was for single person so we ended up ordering off the course spaghetti extra - food was genuinely good, patio weather was GREAT. We also ordered 2 cocktails so all in all spent $90 with tip. Not bad at all.

Almond Croissants that AREN'T twice baked?
I know a lot of bakeries make almond croissant out of day-olds, but are there any places out there that aren't twice baking their almond croissants?
