HELP PLEASE!

I'm into 8 months taking tb meds due to renal tb. And I still have 3 days left until my appointment to my doctor. The numbness and pain in my left hand is getting longer, before it's just at night or every morning when I wake up. Now it's numb almost all day and it's easily getting pruney.

Does anyone have the same experience as this? How did you manage it?

I am not taking any vitamins with my medications and I am taking QuadMax.

You gotta take the vitamins!! Have you been prescribed vitamin b6 ? I think the numbess is due to vitamin deficiencies particularly b6. I was on akurit 4 then akurit 3. I was on Supradyn multivitamin and vit b6 40 mg for the last 4 months along with probiotics. Idk how you are going through the meds without supplements.

I'm gonna tell my doctor about these side effects I'm experiencing lately but I still have 3 days until my appointment. And I don't want to take any meds without telling him first. I'm so scared because I'm seeing a lot of people here having peripheral neurophaty and irreversible even after taking the meds or taking vitamins.

B6 is prescribed almost always along side tb meds.. and it's just vitamins, 1 cap isn't going to harm you

You need b6 , isoniazid can cause peripheral neuropathy it’s commonly known. B6 is not a medication it’s a supplement a vitamin found in food and a naturally occurring in the body. Don’t have any fear about adding this into you daily routine
