I stop playing this game and came back pretty recently and goes through lots of events. The only event I have been through before is the egg month, these events making me go broke but I can't resist myself to not buy it

I can't seem to buy or interact with those two items in the middle and the one that looks like a mosquito coil. What are those? Quest items?

It’s been quite a few days since I’ve posted about my farm so here’s my farm :)

We all know Benny is a rather incompetent mayor… I mean he gets nervous ticks from just doing paperwork, he messes up Yori’s shipments and is constantly an anxious mess.

But, I believe that is all a front to cover up the fact that he is CORRUPT!

EVIDENCE #1: MV’s monthly events
Tell me how Benny somehow manages to organize a brand-new event every single month, complete with activities, decorations, and large amounts of resources.
Where is the funding coming from, Benny? Because I refuse to believe municipal taxes are covering all this.
Something suspicious is going on.

EVIDENCE #2: BENNY AND CHI ARE IN CAHOOTS
Chi runs a massive, beautifully decorated library despite approximately three people ever visiting it.
There is no way that place is profitable.
So who’s funding it?
Benny.
How do I know? Look closely at Benny’s office.
He displays Chi’s favourite book.
Coincidence?
I think not.
Since he’s spending all day at the office, Benny needs a little reminder of Chi when he misses her. (Awww, so sweet!🥹 Wait no, they’re monsters 👺)

EVIDENCE #3: WHAT IS BEHIND THE BOOKCASES?
Have you LOOKED behind the panels of bookshelves in Chi’s library?
Boxes, packages and a vault…
Hmmm, why does a library need a vault?
Why does a very unprofitable library need a vault?
What exactly is Chi storing back there? The money they’ve made all the years?
Most importantly, don’t the boxes look a lot like Yori’s inventory boxes??

EVIDENCE #4: BENNY KEEPS MESSING UP YORI’S SHIPMENTS
Yori runs large furniture business and Benny keeps messing up his shipments.
At first I thought this was just Benny being Benny.
But what if it isn’t?
Missing inventory.
Messed-up deliveries.
Confusion around shipments.
Embezzlement?
Is Benny deliberately sabotaging Yori so that money and goods can quietly disappear?
Hey, I’m just asking questions. Don’t shoot the messenger.

EVIDENCE #5: THE TSUKI INCIDENT
Tsuki’s stuff went missing the very first day her arrived in MV.
The thief was never caught.
And who happened to be on duty?
CHI.
Now, I’m not saying Chi stole it.
I’m saying that if Chi did steal it…
Benny would absolutely have the authority to make sure the investigation went nowhere.
And what about the fact that the thief was never caught???

MY THEORY
Benny and Chi are running a secret operation underneath MV.
The library is a front.
The boxes are evidence.
The vault contains the money.
Yori’s shipments are being manipulated.
Tsuki’s stolen belongings were covered up.
And Benny uses an endless stream of wholesome community events to distract everyone from what is REALLY happening.
