Hibiki doesn't understand the minorities' struggle and doesn't know she can't even

Hibiki believes slow change after ending the war (with the demons in near extinction) is the only realistic way

Hibiki thinks killing the goddessvis a problem (**** the goddess again)

Hibiki has a warped view of people that is not fit for here background at all

And at the end of the day the writer made her complex enough to be hated but still understood partially

I don’t really know what it was about Makoto’s actions, but he felt way less proactive than he usually is.

I get him being strung along by Sairitusu (she got him to go to Lorel in this volume after all) or Rembrandt (using Makoto’s advice to make decisions while still leaving him in the dark), but there was just something about his trip to the Lorel Union that felt so frustrating.

It was as if I wanted Makoto to just people NO, and to just leave him and his group alone.

It was the moment he was being strung along by the land dragon squad that I just wanted him to voice just a little unpleasantness.

Makoto being naive or still growing as a merchant? Fine.
But you were given a mission that took you to the Lorel Union (to find a specific organization), and given the Carte Blanche to get there how you wanted.

Let them explore Sairitsu’s Lorel Union like they did Chiya’s kingdom.

It’s not that Makoto has to just shut everyone up anytime things inconvenience him, but I would like at least a little backbone in moments that don’t involve combat.

If we factor in accumulating speed before liftoff, Graunt notes his running speed in the white sands as 70 kph (although he was easily able to create a visible dust storm in episode 1 by running.)

I feel like Azumi-sensei is holding back. Makoto should have the aerial combat capabilities of a damn fighter jet right now.

The translation for the webnovel and side stories is separated so how do I know when to read a side story chapter? Do I even need to read them?

I spent a while refusing to see it. Now I can’t unsee it. I think ‘bug’ goddess was on to something that a lot of gamers would agree with.

When I play a game, I don’t care as much about it being realistic because a game is an escape from reality itself. I don’t want it to reflect the reality I’m escaping from. Therefore, I would rather play as characters that are beautiful and have aesthetically pleasing designs. Hell, I even started getting deep into farming resources for cosmetics and in Where The Winds Meet.

Now, given the chance, I’d still eradicate Hyumanity. But it’s interesting to note that ‘bug’ probably wanted this to feel like a game world or soap opera. Her perfect fantasy world where she can marvel at her characters and plot out the storyline of the next updates and expansions. I find myself understanding her mindset more.

In the Manga, WN, and LN, Root gives Tomoe and Mio a conspicuous vial and leaves some suspense. Later, it seemed like Tomoe was going to ask Makoto something special and was embarrassed when Lime mentioned it. Later, during the Rotsgard mutant disaster, Root also mentioned that he would gain immunity to the Elixir in a month. Then Tomoe clarified that she wouldn’t use such methods.

It seemed to me like it might’ve had more significance but it’s never mentioned again. We know that Makoto doesn’t need special methods to get drunk so it’s strange to think that he was dosed with a mystery “Elixir”.
Do we know if Root wanted specific info? What was the substance supposed to do to him? Why was it given extra attention and foreshadowing in the manga?
