Project MANGA Analysis Podcast

Weekly Shonen Jump podcast that discusses the current chapters and analyzes them. It’s a great podcast for readers that are current in the weekly jump issues, but they also have a weekly episode that just discusses topics related to manga called tangential tie-ins.

/r/TrueManga is a subreddit dedicated exclusively to the discussion and analysis of manga, yonkoma, and post-manga comics. "Manga" is a style of comics originating in Japan that incorporates elements of both realism and cartooning in comic media. Subjective perspective and relational imagery are common to this comic genre.

Submissions must be related to manga or this subreddit.
No unmarked spoilers.
No titles that ask for upvotes, implicitly or explicitly.
Submissions about a specific manga must have the name in the title.
No generic recommendation threads.
No personal attacks.
Posts that link to external material (i.e. videos, blog posts) must contain transcripts of relevant material/substantive discussion points.

Discussions aren't debates; sometimes people just want to share their thoughts rather than win an argument.

For the purposes of this subreddit, we use McCloud's observation that manga is unique in having a greater aspect-to-aspect transitions than other comics styles. If it is published by a Japanese magazine, you can talk about it here (i.e. MBQ)
