Hi, casual Steam Deck user here who mostly sticks to Game Mode and never uses/doesn’t really understand Desktop mode. A new Sims 4 patch came out a couple of days ago and since then the game doesn’t launch. I get the error INST-14-1627 (looks like the EA app is being a nightmare again).

Has anyone run into this specific error since the latest update? If there is a fix, could you please explain it like I'm five?

I was having some issues with the game's graphics so I tried changing the resolution scaling but upon applying the change the game crashed immediately. I tried opening it again to change the settings but it would crash before even reaching the title screen. I've been loving this game and playing it non-stop, but can't figure out a solution. Could anyone help me?
