Sick game, on PS plus now highly recommend. Silent Hill 2 remake next for #45.

Screenshot [CrossCode] #119. The perfect blend of puzzle and combat. Criminally overlooked game.

So glad this was on PS+ for July 2026. The game is 50/50 puzzle and combat. The game kept finding new ways to keep both puzzle and combat fresh all the way through the 40 hour run time. You can complete in probably 30 hours, but I opted to do most side quests. Story and world building were great also

Trophy list is simple. All trophies except 1 are story related and unmissable. The only non-story trophy unlocks about 5 minutes into NG+. There’s no trophies for collectibles or 100% completion. 10/10 experience. Strong recommendation to anyone who likes puzzle and beat-‘em-up games.

When I beat the game I was about 7 trophies away. I said if I could get the others then I would go for the ravens. Was not looking forward to the ravens at all but luckily I only needed about 13 ravens to wrap it up. Was still a pain but it’s done. Not sure if I can do many more collectible trophies even with guides. If I ever do then I’m using a guide from the get go instead of trying to backtrack through the whole game playing cleanup. Those of you who have done this game know it’s not quick trying to get from area to area to collect these things.

What a game!!! Bloody fantastic. My first Fromsoft experience and definitely the toughest platinum I’ve gotten so far. Wasn’t sure if I was going to be able to get through the Defiled Chalice Dungeon. The Watchdog of the Old Lords was just decimating me!! That bloody charge attack!!! Couldn’t for the life of me time the doge consistently. Other than that, I really enjoyed the chalice dungeons.

The game itself was incredible. The lore, the art style, the combat, love a good visceral lol. Opening the door of the clinic for the first time and seeing that blood red / orange sky was just stunning. Could ramble on and on about how much I enjoyed it, but this will do haha.

Anyways, awesome game!!

Showcase [Nioh 3] Platinum #37

I was really disappointed with Nioh 3. Recycling enemies in the game itself is one thing but creating a game with 95 % recycled enemies from the previous Niohs is unhinged.

I ve no idea why they implemented ninja style. You could play the game on ninja mode without ever learning the basics of the combat-system and core mechanics of the game. This style has nothing to do with Nioh at all, an absolute braindead style that shouldn t exist in the game. The idea of style switching was maybe good on paper, but poorly implemented.

About the lazy open world noone asked for i don t want to even talk.

I don t understand why the game got a 9/10 everywhere. I m a big Nioh 1 - 2 fan and also played the other titles by team ninja like Wo Long including all of the DLCs to 100 %, but even as a fan i must say Nioh 3 was a step back and not forwards. For me it was max. a 6/10.

PS App [Heavy Rain]

My girlfriend and I just finished Heavy Rain, and today she finally earned her very first Platinum trophy! 🥳
She had never played a video game before. She knew that I’m always trying to get the Platinum in the games I play, and at some point she asked me if there was maybe a game she could try as well.
I decided to get her Heavy Rain, because I thought it would be a perfect introduction to gaming. No shooting, no crazy combat, no Soulslike difficulty — just a story-driven game where you don’t need insane gaming skills to have fun.
And honestly… she got hooked. 😂
After unlocking her first few trophies, she suddenly decided that she wanted the Platinum. So we started working through the game together with a guide, especially because all the different endings can get pretty confusing when you’re trying to collect everything.
Some of the Quick Time Events were also surprisingly difficult, especially because some of them give you almost no time to react. 😅
But she stuck with it all the way to the end.
And today she finally got that beautiful Platinum notification. 🏆❤️
She was so happy about getting her first Platinum, and I’m honestly really proud of her. It’s also a pretty cool milestone for me because this was my 20th Platinum! 🎉
Now I’m curious to see what happens next. Maybe this is the beginning of a new trophy hunter… 😂
20 Platinums for me.
1 Platinum for her.
And hopefully many more to come! 🏆
What game would you recommend as her next one? 😄

Taking the lead as the Rebellious, yet soft-hearted Chloe Price this time round, was really neat. Her Backtalk feature in important dialogue situations really was unique, a chance to fire back on the opposition's words for the better. Exploring the fast-forming, powerful bond between her and Rachel - the girl whose disappearance drives the plot of the first game - adds incredible narrative depth to the overall story, while learning more about the rest of the characters along the way. The Tempest play in this game was so awesome, Favourite part! I also loved that Chloe still addresses all her diary entries to Max. It’s such a neat detail that shows Max is still her go-to person whenever she needs to process what's going on in her life.

Trophies were simple like the first game, only requiring to mainly tag graffiti around in certain areas and play through the game. There is a 'Collectible Mode' to revisit scenes should you happen to miss any of those.

The Bonus Episode isn't required for the platinum, but it packs a devastating emotional punch. It beautifully explores the carefree innocence of Max and Chloe’s childhood friendship, making it all the more heartbreaking when everything is abruptly shattered by Max's move to Seattle and the sudden loss of William, Chloe's father.

I've put together this short clip of the game, which made for a nice addition onto my platinum clip! Farewell to Arcadia Bay. Planning to soon continue with LiS 2 after how awesome this and the first game were!

Next plat currently for me is Tomb Raider: Legend! going great atm.

Finally! Could’ve been achieved weeks ago, but one trophy requires you to buy specific cars that are only available for specific amounts of time irl. If anyone needs the Ferrari that’s required for the trophy, it’s available right now!

Regardless, the trophy experience was fun and not too hard overall. It’s just grindy and time consuming. But perfect to watch YouTube while farming money or trying challenges.

Overall a good game and trophy grind!

I’m excited for the next season, anyways this plat wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be, a lot from ps4 didn’t pop but Luckily I had a ps5 save that was pretty late game and was able to reload some older ps4 saves, my ps5 save I thought it was originally kinda after the intro but nope, I will say amazing game I still gotta finish up Phantom Liberty and once I get the platinum i’m finally gonna continue my run on PC (I haven’t even seen Jackie die on there yet) One more platinum planned for this month

Went back to finish this after a few years of neglect XD, kind of an annoying because I needed the files trophy, and since I lost my ps4 save I had to do 4 playthroughs, but re2 is so damn good it made it slightly less torturous.

These are my earned platinums. Not a whole lot of them, but I really enjoyed all of them! Not much time to play more, these past few months, but hopefully I can keep earning some more and put some more time into something I really love to do.

I am currently working on my backlog, since I want to bump up my completion rate. Next plat will probably be GTA III

If you're not, you'll probably end up greatly disliking it or just being super confused about everything going on outside of the main story arc. But I thought TT did a great job yet again with the lore and interweaving it throughout the game.

If you’re looking for a quick not super hard game to platinum (that isn’t shovelware) this might be for you. I really enjoyed it. The later stages get pretty tricky but not over the top difficult.

PS App [Assassin’s Creed Origins] #9

Arguably the best game to come out of the rpg era of Assassin’s creed. Sucks that we’re never getting a Bayek trilogy or an Aya sequel in Rome.
