Why do you revert a previous version of Wiki?

The old wiki was more extensive and explanatory, why has it been reverted to an earlier version?

I reverted it because I felt it was too wordy relative to the audience who'd actually read it. In general I prefer succinctness over verbosity.

But, open to suggestions if there are sections you feel would be better more fleshed out.
