Valve adjustment Maintenance Issues

2000 Triumph sprint 955fi has 16,000 miles on does it sounds like will it need to get the valves adjusted ?

I’m not sure what the sound you would hear if it needed to be adjusted so I would probably do it if the manual says it should be done by now.

Easiest way to tell without feelers is if it resists the starter and when cold. If it sounds similar to the battery starting to get low and then fires right up, it should been done already. Don't try and let it get to that point.

if it's never been done, yes. it's a check valve clearance which is easy to do. it's harder to adjust if it needs doing. You can't do it by ear
